The Ede military had set up camp at the border between Ede and Skermann in the desert, withrge shells aimed at the destroyed border town of Agnas.


    Holt arrived at the military camp thirty minutes ago and ordered the military to attack Agnas. He also ordered them to be on guard after the attack ended.


    He did that because he was informed that the cultivators of Skermann had plotted to fight back. ording to his initial calctions, the cultivators of Skermann should be hiding at Agnas at the moment.


    The cultivators surely escaped when the attack started, and they would naturally fight back once the attack ended. A Sanctuary level cultivator alone could take on an army.


    Holt created some special equipment to fight those cultivators. He was only waiting for the Skermann cultivators to attack so he could take them all out in one go.


    Most cultivators would stand up for justice. Cultivators existed to maintain world order, after all. Holt was not a fan of anyone who would interfere with the situation in Burd Bay. He was unwilling topromise regardless of who his enemy was.


    In order to gain control over Burd Bay, Holt spent a lot of time searching and finally found a way to deal with cultivators. It could easily get rid of any cultivators who were inferior to the Emperor level.


    Although there were plenty of cultivators, very few reached the Emperor level. Moreover, Burd Bay was quite a remote and quiet region in the world, so any havoc would not draw a lot of attention from cultivators worldwide.


    Thus, Holt believed that he could rule over the region if he got rid of the cultivators in Burd Bay. His n was mostlyplete. All that was left was to involve the small nation, Skermann, in the war.


    Holt had to get rid of the Skermann cultivators himself. It would also force Skermann to join the battle. Holt was worried about Wilbur when he heard of his arrival. Wilbur was rumored to be very powerful, after all. However, Holt felt that Wilbur was none of his concern at the moment.


    Wilbur was targeted by the Dark Messenger, after all. Holt believed that Wilbur would survive the crisis if he continued hiding, or he would be killed by the Dark Messenger if he showed up. However, Holt did admire Wilbur''s abilities since he was able to take out Buker, Aiden, and Kino, and then kept Ede''s troops under control.


    It was very quiet all around. They could sense a cold breeze as time passed. Everyone was fixated on the small town in front of them.


    Suddenly, several figures flew out from Agnas. They rushed toward the military camp where Holt was located.


    Holt took a deep breath and shut his eyes, saying, "I sensed five different energies. It looks like we have five cultivators. Four of them are Sanctuary level, and one of them is a pre-Emperor level cultivator. Looks like we''re going to have a good fight."


    Then, he slowly opened his eyes. There was an evil smirk on his face, and he did not look nervous at all. Suddenly, themanding officer said, "Mister Holt, they''re here. Please give your orders to open fire!"


    "No, wait for my orders. Have all the artillery units stay hidden."


    "But..."


    Holt red at themanding officer. Themanding officer noticed Holt''s re and lowered his gaze, then humbly went back to his position and yelled, "Artilleries, stay low!"


    Themanding officer felt uneasy after giving that order. They were facing five cultivators, after all. A Sanctuary level cultivator alone could take on an entire army, so five cultivators could take on five times that. It was a danger he could not just ignore.
