A wild boar with gleaming fangs strode out of the trees slowly. The boar was huge, probably weighing around a hundred and thirty kilograms. It eyed Wilbur hungrily as if he were a delicious meal.
The boar''s front left trotter stomped into the ground twice. Both Wilbur and the boar were staring each other down, and the entire forest seemed to go quiet in their wake.
All of a sudden, the wild boar let out a furious roar as it broke out into a sprint, charging toward Wilbur.
He smirked at the sight before him. Instead of using his thunder cleaver, he charged over to grab the boar by its fangs.
The boar shoved at Wilbur as he backed up a few meters, kicking up the leaves on the ground in a frenzy. Anyone else would have been scared out of their wits as a wild boar in a primeval forest was supposed to have the purest of its species'' blood.
A wild boar that weighed a hundred and thirty kilograms could kill ten people at once. In the past, a wild boar once showed up in a small town and killed seventy people within a month.
The wild boar was strong because of the enormous power of its pure blood. Wilbur did not fear this boar because his body had grown a lot stronger during his time in Gelsa.
Thus, Wilbur wanted to see if he could defeat this enormous boar without using his spiritual energy or any other powers. If he had been unsure before, grabbing the boar by its fangs pretty much gave him an idea of how this was going to go.
Wilbur had not even really used much force before he had drained thirty percent of the wild boar''s energy. The beast might be the purest of its kind, but it was hardly anything to Wilbur.
The next moment, Wilbur stopped being pushed back. He gripped the boar''s fangs and pushed it back for two meters. Shock and fury shed in the boar''s eyes as if it could not believe that this human being had so much strength in him.
The wild boar pushed back with all its might, but Wilbur moved sideways abruptly. He yanked the boar off the ground by its fangs, hurling it into the air before bringing it back onto the ground harshly.
Boom!
With a loud collision, the boar''s head was cracked open, and its bodyy lifeless on the ground.
Wilbur cried out in glee, "A beast this big should probablyst me a month! I''m going to grill it!"
He handled the boar''s flesh at once, setting up a grill on the ground, and began to roast the enormous boar. A regr human being would have to rely on just wood or charcoal for this, which would take at least a day or two to cook the whole boar through.
Wilbur had no time to waste and used his thunder-type powers to give the mes a boost with one hand while rotating the boar with the other. This sped up the process greatly, and it only took an hour to cook the entire boar.
Beforeing here, Wilbur was ready to live out in the wild for some time, so he had brought some salt and other seasonings that he now sprinkled onto the pork as he grilled it.
After he was done, Wilbur cut off a slice of meat from the boar''s body and put it into his mouth. "Mmm, not bad."
Wilbur had torn off one of the boar''s trotters and was about to dig in when a voice rang from behind him. "Whoa, that smells great. Who grilled this boar? I haven''t smelled anything quite like this in a while."
Wilbur turned to see an old man withpletely white hair walk out. The old man came up to Wilbur, gulping at the sight of the grilled boar. "Young man, did you grill this boar?"
"Yes, I did."
Wilbur furrowed his brows. Despite being irked by getting interrupted in the middle of a meal, he figured that anyone who showed up here must be far from ordinary and thus chose to stay on their good side.
