Despite both spirit energy and physical energy being resources that would exhaust themselves and have to be renewed, the Dragon Move draining one''s body of spirit energy would cause Wilbur to sink into a deep fatigue in a matter of seconds. Thus, Wilbur could not help but be wary of it.


    Thus, Wilbur made up his mind to only use the Dragon Move if he was really in a tough spot.


    It was only the next morning when Wilbur''s spirit energy was mostly restored. He opened his eyes and let out a long breath. Just then, there was a knock on the door.


    Wilbur scrambled to get off his bed,ing up to the door and opening it. Standing there was Bernard Stoli, the vice-captain of the ck Panthers.


    Bernard got straight to the point. "I''ve got good news and bad news. Which would you like to hear first?"


    "The bad news."


    Bernard smiled. "Why not the good news first?"


    Wilbur said, "Well, the bad news would give me a good idea of the extent of the situation."


    Bernard nodded. "The bad news is that Molton is dead."


    "Okay. What''s the good news?"


    "The good news is that Master Fremont knows about Kearson''s death, but he does not me you for it. Your agreement with him is still in effect as usual."


    Wilbur heaved a sigh of relief. "Thank goodness. I guess I really was overthinking."


    Bernard patted Wilbur on the shoulder. "Things aren''t as easy as you think they are, I''ll have you know that. Everyone''s waiting in the restaurant downstairs for you, pack up ande see us."


    "What? Is Perry here too?"


    "Yes, all eight of us are here. Come on, hurry up."


    "Okay."


    Wilbur closed the door and packed his bags,ing downstairs to the restaurant on the first floor of the hotel where he saw Perry and the others."


    "It''s been a while, Wilbur," said Perry.


    Wilbur and Perry shook hands, and Perry said, "What happened this time was a little more serious, so our master told us toe and help you out."


    "What?"


    Wilbur was confused. "What happened? Kearson''s already dead, isn''t he?"


    Kearson might have formed some sort of a connection with the Shadow King from the realm of the Shadow Men, which was what summoned the Shadow King''s clone in the world during the battle against Wilbur. However, the Shadow King''s body had been sted to smithereens, and there was no way he coulde to this world any longer.


    Perry said, "Kearson might be dead, but the situation is far from over. Part of Kearson''s Shadow energy that he had sealed into his body escaped during your battle, and it has be a medium that can connect our world to theirs. The Shadow King mighte here through that medium."


    Wilbur was a little confused. "What do you mean by that? That sticky ck stuff was Shadow energy?"
