The rampant dragon aura tore at Wilbur''s body relentlessly, and before long, there were up to a hundred cuts on his body. Nheless, the fierce winds continued, and Wilbur was beginning to suffer from internal damage on top of the external injuries. He became extremely weak. Eventually, he could not endure it any longer and copsed to the ground.
The fierce winds did not show any signs of stopping in the slightest. Wilbur''s shirt was torn to shreds, and he was about to be torn apart when the first dragon cauldron soared up above Wilbur''s head and emitted a ray of golden light.
The golden light enveloped Wilbur, and the winds outside somehow could not get to Wilbur in the slightest after that. The rested dragon aura in the cauldron was fed into the golden light and absorbed by Wilbur''s body, beginning to nourish and restore his health.
As time passed, the rampant dragon energy was absorbed and converted as the fierce winds slowly died down. Just then, Stefan''s voice rang from mid-air, "Who are you, and why are you saving him? Wilbur Penn is my prey, and it is not very noble of you to do this to me."
There was a pause as if the voice was waiting for a response. Yet the room remained silent, and eventually, Stefan spoke up once more. "Since you insist on doing this the hard way, don''t me me for what I''m about to do."
As his words rang through the air, the ck miasma in the stone room condensed into a ck sword that shot out toward the first dragon cauldron.
Yet just as the sword was about to reach the cauldron, something magical happened. The area enveloped in the golden light seemed to contain some special pressure that made the sword stop. The air quivered as the light filled the room, and the ck sword was dissolved into ck miasma before disappearing out of sight.
It was unclear how long had passed when Wilbur finally regained consciousness. He frowned at the first dragon cauldron floating in the air, which lost its golden glow. "Were you the one who saved me?"
The fierce winds had vanished, and it was clear that the first dragon cauldron had absorbed the dragon aura so that Wilbur could escape his tragic fate. The cauldron seemed to be responding in a way, floating down to sit on Wilbur''s palm. Wilbur inspected the cauldron closely but did not notice any changes.
He heaved a sigh of relief, cing the cauldron on the ground and sitting down to restore his body. The first dragon cauldron floated in the air once more, helping Wilbur to channel the dragon aura to rest. An hour passed, and Wilbur felt like his body was restored to roughly three-quarters of the way.
The Light Warrior hadid down a formation here, which was of great help to a cultivator. Wilbur would usually take at least one whole day to recover from such serious injuries, but he only spent an hour in the Cave of Korst to heal up.
Wilbur stood up from the ground, putting the first dragon cauldron away. "It''s time to get that Light Armor. I''ming for you, Senior Stefan!"
He paused for a beat, but Stefan''s voice did not ring in his head. Wilbur barked out augh, walking out of the room from the passage on the right. He took the path leading ahead this time, making his way for about two hundred meters before finally reaching thest stone room.
It was equipped with a stone bed, desk, and stool. The ce looked like somewhere a cultivator practicing in solitude would live.
Sitting on the bed was a skeleton in ck robes, covered in spiderwebs.
The skeleton was obviously devoid of any flesh, but Wilbur was reminded of Stefan at the mere sight of it. Stefan had achieved great things in his time but had still ended up dying here.
