Wilbur activated his shield at once. After the onught of arrows had finally lessened, the air was filled with a series of rushed footsteps as the second wave of ant-men charged into the fog. These ant-men were holding swords and shields this time, and their feelers seemed to have lost the ability tomunicate with each other.
Wilbur had charged the fog with a lightning ball once more, but the ant-men this time were oblivious to the current. They barged around the fog trying to look for Wilbur and Tracy, and Wilbur was able to kill almost a hundred of them.
At the same time, several pirs of light wandered among the sea of ant-men. Many of the ant-men were killed as well, and barely three minutester the second wave of any men had been wiped out with a few of them fleeing from the fog for their lives.
The fleeing ant-men were quickly killed by the ant-men guarding the edge of the fog, and a third wave of ant-men, this time ant knights on horses, rushed into the fog.
Wilbur stabbed one of the ant knights with his spear, summoning his historical halberd. He swung it across the air, and a dozen or so of the ant knights came flying off their horses from the attack.
Following that, the ant knights were all killed off in barely five minutes.
Wilbur waited for a while. No more ant-men were to be seen.
Just as he was about to walk out of the fog, however, Tracy dashed in front of him and ran out of the fog first.
By the time Wilbur had exited the fog, the ant soldiers from the camp before were nowhere to be seen. The doors to the camp swung open, and Tracy strode through them.
Wilbur took a deep breath. He was about to follow after Tracy as well when Tracy came flying out of the doors beforending on the ground and spitting out a mouthful of blood.
"What''s the matter, Mister Tracy? Are you alright?"
Wilbur rushed over to help Tracy up, whose chest heaved as he said, "You should leave, Mister Penn. Those guys inside, they''re way too powerful."
"What?"
Wilbur was shocked but figured that whoever was inside the camp must be extremely strong to be able to take Tracy down so easily. They were indeed in trouble.
Just then, an ant-man in silver armor came riding out of the camp on a horse. At the same time, a sound rang in Wilbur and Tracy''s minds.
"You two are looking to be killed barging in here. Take this, you poor fools!"
The ant-man rode over. His right hand made a fist, and a huge iron hammer appeared in his grasp. Wilbur was about to get up, but Tracy grabbed him by the shirt. "Go on, leave! He''s mine, leave him to me!"
The same voice rang through Wilbur and Tracy''s heads once more.
"Your brother Truman has extremely tender meat. I''m sure yours is the same."
"Arghhh!"
Tracy flew to his feet as if he had lost his mind, muttering chants relentlessly. Yet before he could finish his spell, the iron hammer flew out of the ant-man''s grasp and struck Tracy in the chest, sending him flying.
The iron hammer flew backward after that back into the ant-man''s grasp. Just then, the ant-man''s voice rang in Wilbur''s head once more.
"It''s your turn now. You''ve killed my army, and I want you dead!"
Wilbur summoned a thunder spear that he hurled towards the ant-man''s horse, piercing through its body. The horse exploded, and the ant-men promptly leaped off it.
Following that, the ant-man hurled his hammer in Wilbur''s direction. Wilbur took out the historical halberd, knocking the iron hammer out as it flew in a curve back into the ant-man''s grasp.
The next second, the ant-man darted in front of Wilbur before striking out with the hammer. At the same time, Wilbur raised the halberd. Sparks flew from the shing weapons, and Wilbur was sent flying several meters.
The ant-man''s voice rang in Wilbur''s head once more.
"You''re far too weak. I''ve changed my mind now, and I''ll give you a chance. If you kill Tracy here, I''ll spare your life and you can stay here serving me for the rest of your life."
