The thought made Tracy smile. "He sure is the chosen one. I guess I underestimated him."
At the same time, an ant-man holding a long spear with a cape on his back had walked up to the edge of the fog under two ant-men''s Id.
There were already a few ant-men waiting there. Through the connection in their feelers, the ant general was able to know what was going on in the fog. The two guards by his side were about to enter the fog, but the ant general put up a hand as if ordering them to back up.
Following that, the general walked into the fog holding his spear.
The ant general seemed unaffected by the fog. It was not long before he had found the four ant-men''s locations, as well as where Wilbur was. However, the general did not charge in Wilbur''s direction. Instead, he found the nearest ant- man to stand by and pretend as if he was under control as well.
Wilbur reached them soon enough. Just as he was about to go in for the kill, the ant general raised his sword and stabbed at Wilbur''s belly.
Wilbur got a shock, scrambling to retreat. However, the ant general had no intention of stopping, continuing in his relentless attack. The ant general moved swiftly, and Wilbur continued to dodge the attack while still staying around the general to learn his attack formation.
Surrounded by dragon aura, the ant general''s each and every move was captured by Wilbur. It might have seemed like Wilbur was dodging, but he was just learning the ant general''s attacks, and it was not long before he had memorized all of them.
The next second, Wilbur''s thunder cleaver turned into a long spear as Wilbur used the ant general''s moves against himself. The battle went on for more than a dozen rounds, and it was hard to tell who was going to win. Atst, Wilbur ducked to the side and drove his spear firmly through the ant general''s body, killing him.
Following that, Wilbur took the ant general''s spear off him to use against the rest of the ant-men. The electric currents charging the fog had run out then, and the ant-men regained their senses atst. Yet when Wilbur emerged in front of them holding their general''s spear, none of the ant-men dared to do a thing.
Wilbur wiped dozens of the ant-men one spear at a time. The two ant guards charged into the fog trying to take Wilbur down but were killed as well.
The fog fell silent once more, but Wilbur did not intend to leave in the slightest. After all, the ant-men outside the fog had their bows pointed this way, and they were sure to fire the second he stepped out.
These ant-men had high levels of intelligence, enough to even set up a camp. This meant that they had long since prepared for this and luring them into the fog was the only way Wilbur was going to be able to take them out.
Wilbur stuck the spear into the ground, thinking about his battle just now against the ant general. The ant general was indeed powerful, but still far from the ant- man Wilbur had encountered in the Greensource Corp basement.
Could that ant-man in the basement have been an evolved version of his species, or that there had yet to be a powerful ant-man to emerge from the camp so they could only send regr ant soldiers into the battle?
Wilbur felt that thetter was more likely to be the case. Just then, however, a barrage of arrows rained down from atop. The ant-men outside the fog must have sensed theck of theirpanions'' presence in the fog and were thus attacking
once more.
