The man in the suit raised an eyebrow, walking towards the plume of smoke as he called out, "Demetra? Are you still there?"


    He spotted the sheath of Demetra''s sword on the ground and gasped. Demetra emerged from the smoke, emitting a ck miasma as his eyes were ck as ink and he brandished his sword.


    "You motherf*cker."


    The man in the suit dropped the howitzer, grabbing the pistol at his waist and pointing it at Demetra. Yet just as he was about to pull the trigger, a ck sword aura several meters long came whistling down from the heavens.


    It came into contact with the man in the suit, exploding his body into a spray of limbs and blood.


    "Argh!"


    Demetra let out a roar of fury, flicking his sword through the air as several sword auras struck the walls of the factory. They came crumbling down at once as the factory copsedpletely into a pile of rubble.


    The smoke slowly cleared, and Demetra stepped out of the debris slowly. The ck miasma around him faded as he stowed his sword away and drove off.


    Over in Jeckle''s office at Greensource Corp, his assistant Avinki came running in


    a panic. "Bad news, Mister Jeckle! Judge Dickens'' vitals have disappeared from our system-I think the assassin named Demetra killed him."


    "Hm?"


    Jeckle raised an eyebrow. The truth was that he had never actually believed Demetra would be able to defeat Wilbur with his skill level and had only assigned Demetra the mission to have a reason to take him out.


    After all, Demetra was far too rigid in his ways. There had even been several cases in which Demetra disrespected Jeckle and ordered him around, and keeping an assassin like that on his team would only bring him trouble eventually.


    Jeckle had not expected Wilbur to spare Demetra''s life after defeating him. With no other choice, Jeckle had to get Judge Dickens to take care of Demetra, thinking that he would sentence Demetra to death for sure. And yet, Dickens was the one who ended up dead.


    Dickens was extremely powerful and had even taken out an assassin who failed an A-level mission. Despite that, he had been defeated by Demetra.


    Jeckle was honestly in disbelief at the news. "Are you sure, Avinki? Did Demetra actually kill the Judge?"


    Avinki fidgeted. "I''m not sure who exactly killed Judge Dickens, but what I do know for a fact is that he''s dead."


    Dickens had once been a peak Sanctuary level elite, and the power of destruction in his me crystal core was actually stronger than that of Demetra''s.


    That was why Jeckle did not think that Demetra could have killed Dickens, and he mumbled to himself, "Could it be the Dashan guy who killed Dickens?"


    Jeckle shook his head. After all, there were tabs being kept on Wilbur every second. If Wilbur had really killed Dickens, someone would have reported it for


    sure.


    That meant that Wilbur had not been the one to kill Dickens, and it was someone else.


    Either way, Dickens was a Judge of Greensource Corp, who was considered thepany''s peacekeepers. Now that one of the Judges was dead, the higher-ups would be alerted for sure.


    This was a huge ordeal, and Jeckle reported the news of Dickens'' death to the higher-ups at once.
