    The man shook his head. "We don''t believe in killing the innocent, sir. If you don''t work with us, we''ll just send the girls back to Mondorra. We didn''t kidnap them from your house, anyway. As long as we don''t have any blood on our hands, there''s nothing you can fault us for both legally and morally, is there?"

    He turned and left the restaurant, returning after five minutes and handing a phone to Wilbur. "My boss would like to have a word with you, sir. The Boss says that your conditions can be negotiated."


    Wilbur picked up the phone without hesitation. "Wilbur Penn here. How should I address you?"


    A woman''s voice came through the phone. "It''s a pleasure to be speaking to you, Mister Penn! I''m deeply sorry for doing something like this, sir.
