Also, could you tell your officers to chill? I''m just here to eat, do they need to have a hand on their guns like that? Those people just now were armed, too. I didn''t see either of your officers behaving this way when they were around!"


    Wilbur spoke the words calmly, but they only made Tammy all the more confused about who he actually was.


    Tammy felt that Wilbur had the same values as her. Of course, there was an impossible gap between the both of them in terms of power.


    "I believe you, but I must also warn you that it''s best you don''t stay here for long. Try to leave as soon as possible if there''s nothing you need here!"


    Tammy got up to leave after she said the words. The firmness in her tone even reminded Wilbur of Elsa.


    Wilbur nced at Betty and Monica after Tammy was gone. "If you''re done eating, let''s get on the road. These people don''t seem to be too weing of us, and we have no reason to stay here any longer either!"


    Monica nodded. "Mister Penn, these people seem to be terrified of you! Are you actually the son of some powerful figure?"


    Wilbur did not provide an answer to Monica''s ridiculous assumption. "I think it''s best that you know as little as possible, so I won''t be answering your questions. Let''s go."


    He paid for their meal, then left the diner with the two women.


    "Mister Penn, are you going to leave after we find Lacey and Eliana? I have this feeling that we''re from different worlds, and you being here have taught and shown us so much. Of course, I''m not ming you for anything in the slightest. I''m just saying that everything that''s happened to you seems worlds away from what people like us would experience on a regr basis."


    Betty looked at Wilbur cautiously as she spoke. The more powerful she realized this man was, the further she felt she was from him.


    "We''re bound to go our separate ways eventually. Besides, I don''t think we''d be able to find Lacey and Eliana so soon. It''s a little early to say anything like that. After we get to Aidementon, you''re going to stay with your friends like we agreed on, or I can put you up somewhere too. I''ll take you to Eliana and Lacey after I find them..."


    Monica and Betty did not know whether to be worried or happy at Wilbur''s words.


    It was good that Wilbur would not be leaving anytime soon, but they were worried about Lacey and Eliana. If they were taken to Mondorra''s headquarters, it would be near impossible to rescue them!


    The three of them fell silent as they began heading to Aidementon, unsure of what to say.
