Wilbur finally red up, snatching the knife out of Donna''s hands and mming it down on the table. "Drop the act. There is absolutely nothing going on between us, and you can forget about trying to make me look bad."


    Donna shook her head, rushing out of the room. Her sobs could still be heard from outside.


    Everyone else looked at each other, unsure what to do. They dug into their food with a sudden burst of gusto, desperate to break the tension in the air.


    Wilbur shook his head helplessly as he sat down. "There really isn''t anything going on between the both of us. I don''t know what''s gotten into thisdy, please don''t overthink it."


    "Of course, of course," Warner and the others scrambled to nod.


    Internally, however, not a single one of them believed Wilbur. As if the two of them were innocent, judging from what had just happened.


    Yet none of them dared to say a word.


    The banquet reached its end eventually, with the air growing colder by the second.


    Just then, Wilbur said, "How about this, Warner? You can continue the discussion with Jonah here. I''ll head to the hospital to pay Sarah a visit."


    Wilbur wanted to get to the bottom of whatever was wrong with thisdy. Seeing as she was a friend of Sarah''s, Wilbur might be able to get the truth from Sarah herself.


    Warner and the others were more than thrilled to have that happen and scrambled to nod.


    Wilbur got to his feet and left, and Warner had his driver send Wilbur to the hospital.


    Sarah was lying in her bed, staring at the ceiling in a daze. It was unclear what she was thinking about.


    It wasn''t until Wilbur sat down by her side that she even realized he was there. "Are you feeling better?" asked Wilbur.


    Sarah nced at him, before turning her face to the side. "I''m fine. It''s a small injury."


    Wilbur fell silent for a beat, before saying, "What''s your rtionship with Donna like?"


    "We''re friends. I''m sure you two are close now," Sarah said with her face still turned away.


    Wilbur huffed. "I''m going to be honest here, I don''t know what''s going on at all. Your lunatic of a friend came into my room and stripped herself clean, then showed up while I was having lunch and caused a scene. Is she sick in the head?"


    "Why would she be causing a scene if there was nothing going on between the both of you?" asked Sarah.


    Wilbur was speechless. What was even going on here?


    "She''s insane! How would I know why she did all that, I thought I''d get an answer from you!" said Wilbur.


    Sarah scoffed. "I don''t know. I need to get some rest, could you please leave me alone now?"


    Wilbur did not know what to say but knew that there was no point in him staying here after she had said such a thing.


    He got to his feet. "Regardless of whatever''s going on between the both of you, I hope you can tell her to stop her nonsense. My patience is limited."


    Wilbur left the room, and tears welled up in Sarah''s eyes.


    She knew Donna was crazy and was willing to do anything to get her petty revenge.


    With Donna''s looks and figure, no man could resist her charms. Wilbur was no exception to this, either.


    Donna had seduced Wilbur all because she wanted Sarah to regret it.


    Well, Donna had seeded. Sarah was heartbroken.


    Sarah could not say a word to Wilbur about the truth, nor could she bring herself


    to think about just how wild Donna and Wilbur could possibly be together.


    Sarah could feel her heart splintering but the second, to the point where it was irreparable.


    Wilbur left the hospital and got a call just as he entered the car.


    Shane''s voice rang through the line. "Mister Penn, we''ve run into some trouble here. Could you make a visit here?


    "What''s the matter?" Wilbur frowned.


    "I can''t exactly tell you on the phone," said Shane. "Could you make a trip to the special forces office? I''m here right now."
