The next second, the enraged believers began inching closer towards Wilbur in an attempt to attack him.
They were certain that Wilbur was behind their elders'' current terrifying state.
Sandy and Lilian took charge as the leaders of the people, glowering at Wilbur as they shouted motivation to the people.
Wilbur''s gaze turned cold at the sight of the people crowding forward. "Take a good look, will you? Kolton and your elders are hardly even of our kind! They''re clearly a different species!"
Kolton and the other elders had fused into a lumpy blob of flesh, emitting a disgusting, rotting stench.
This, coupled with the insects they had just summoned, was enough to make Wilbur suspect that they were not even from this world.
Yet Sandy and Lilian clearly refused to even listen.
"You monster! You''re trying to me our elders and Pumido for what you''ve done
to them! This is unforgivable!" Lilian roared.
Sandy was enraged as well. "You''re a monster who deserves to rot in hell."
The believers were all the more certain and braver now under Sandy and Lilian''s motivations, roaring at Wilbur angrily.
Wilbur let out a sigh. These idiots should really get their brains checked.
On top of that, the elders'' new form was even more worrying.
It was clear that these three were trying to do something. An eerie aura had spread into the air in the form of invincible energy waves.
The believers had crowded over then, and Wilbur had no choice but to cast a mass paralysis spell that paralyzed the people for the time being.
The people within a two-hundred-meter radius of Wilbur froze at once, unable to move as they looked at Wilbur in shock.
Sandy and Lilian were all the more horrified.
"You monster, what did you just do to us?" Lilian roared.
Sandy shouted as well, "Let go of us! What are you trying to do here?"
Wilbur shook his head, paying them no mind as he looked over to the flesh blob that once was Kolton and the others.
The blob was hardly distinguishable anymore, wriggling about slowly.
Sandy and Lilian looked at the blob with tears streaming down their faces, shaking their heads in sorrow and grief.
Wilbur furrowed his brows. The paralysis spell was not going tost for long, and he could not kill these people either.
It was unclear what Kolton and the others were up to either, but it was definitely nothing good.
Under the gray pir of light, the barrier they had formed definitely contained powers of the universe''sws that could not be broken through brute force.
Wilbur eyed the barrier coldly, his gaze dark.
Just then, Kolton''s voice rang from the barrier once more.
"You shall all be believers of the Great Will andy the path for its future! It is our duty, and our honor to do so."
As Kolton continued to mutter, the barrier disappeared all at once.
The pir of light faded as well, and the blob of flesh began to wriggle furiously.
Wilbur gripped the historical halberd as it lit up with roaring spiritual mes.
All of a sudden, the blob began to rise into the air, floating into the sky.
Wilbur watched on silently as it rose almost a hundred meters into the air. He let out a cry then, leaping up and swinging the historical halberd towards the blob viciously.
"You can''t do that, you monster!" Sandy let out a gut-wrenching howl as if Wilbur was a monster hellbent on destroying the universe.
