Cameron let out a loud cry, meeting the warrior''s sword with his own.
A deafening sound rang through the air as Cameron''s sword was crushed in a second. He was sent flying from the impact, nding heavily against one of the trucks and leaving a deep dent.
Blood trickled out of the corner of Cameron''s mouth, and he widened his eyes in shock.
The power of the holy warrior was terrifying, and clearly on a higher level than Cameron was on.
Just then, the warrior took one big stride over to Cameron, lifting him into the air.
Cameron struggled with all his might, but the warrior''s overwhelming power made all his efforts in vain.
"Tell your men to surrender, or they will die." The holy warrior put his sword to Cameron''s neck, the de ice-cold.
A terrible chill spread through Cameron''s body, lowering his temperature at an rming speed.
Cameron was certain that all it would take was a little bit of force from the holy warrior, and Cameron''s head would be separated from his body forever.
Yet he met the warrior''s gaze with his own firm one. "The me Dragon Lord Church will never surrender."
The warrior''s gaze shed coldly, and his sword lit up with spiritual mes.
Cameron closed his eyes.
Just as the warrior was about to slice Cameron''s head off, a cold voice rang through the air.
"Let him go."
The holy warrior got a shock, sensing a deep feeling of dread all of a sudden.
He turned around slowly to see a young man standing behind him. It was unclear when this man had appeared.
He seemed frightfully normal but radiated a bone-chilling aura.
"I said... Let. Him. Go," Wilbur repeated.
The holy warrior let out a howl, maximizing all of his spiritual aura and swinging
his sword at Wilbur in a final burst of courage.
Wilbur reached out, grabbing the de of the sword.
The holy warrior realized in horror then, that Wilbur''s arm waspletely covered in golden scales.
These scales rendered the effects of the warrior''s enchanted swordpletely useless.
Amidst the warrior''s shock, Wilbur jerked the hand holding the cross sword. The weapon shattered at once, and Wilburnded a blow on the warrior''s chest.
The attack was swift as lightning, barely even giving the warrior a chance to react. A dull hum rang through the air.
The charmed, seemingly imprable armor dented, as the holy warrior''s internal organs crumbled as well.
The holy warrior copsed to the ground, drawing hisst breath still inplete disbelief.
Wilbur hardly cast him a second nce, turning to Cameron instead. "Are you hurt?"
"It''s nothing, I''m alright," Cameron said at once.
Wilbur nodded. "Go back. I''ll handle them."
Cameron knew that his powers were nothingpared to Wilbur''s and left at once with a bow.
Just as Cameron left, the soldiers of the Scorpion Army had finally returned to their senses as well.
Simu let out a roar, and all the soldiers pointed their weapons at Wilbur before firing like crazy.
The bullets pierced through the air, letting out countless sharp whistling noises.
However, every single bullet seemed to stop around a meter before Wilbur, as if they had been met with an invincible barrier.
The bullets would lose speed and tten out of shape before falling to the ground as if they had hit solid metal.
Wilbur smirked coldly, lighting up with roaring spiritual mes.
"Dirge of Despair."
As the words rang through the air, a powerful wave of spiritual pressure shrouded
all the soldiers of the Scorpion Army.
All at once, an overwhelming sense of istion and hopelessness filled the soldiers.
They fell into a daze, dropping their weapons and falling into a deep, terrible depression.
Some of the soldiers began to sob, some of them wailing their lungs off. Some of them even picked up their guns, shooting themselves in the head.
Wilbur wove through the crowd, all the people around him turning impossibly hopeless and ending their lives in various ways.
The agony they felt was so unbearable that death seemed to be their only release.
Such was the power of the Emperor''s domain: Dirge of Despair.
Within mere seconds, the Scorpion Army had lost half their men. The remaining soldiers fell into a hopeless frenzy as well, iling around like they had lost their minds.
Just then, Wilbur came up to Simu.
Simu had his pistol in his hand, a horrified expression on his face as he trembled in Wilbur''s presence.
