Karmon and Eagle were now standing guard on either side of the space, watching over everyone.


    "So, what will it be?" Eagle called out loudly. Two long swords appeared in his grasp, radiating spiritual energy as his Sanctuary level spirit pressure enveloped the air.


    Roshan said at once, "Aren''t you from Dasha too, Eagle? How could you abuse your power as someone of Sanctuary level against your own people like this? You''re a traitor!"


    "A traitor?" Eagle smirked. "The world has always favored the strong and powerful. I see nothing wrong in my decision to pledge my loyalty to Master Kamura."


    Roshan sneered coldly. "You should be loyal to someone with good values and true power, not someone who abuses their strengths to prey on the weak. You traitor!"


    "Cut it with your big words, you can forget trying to guilt trip me. Not everyone is going to die with you just because you''ve chosen death yourself," Eagle roared.


    Just then, Karmon turned to face the crowd coldly. "This is yourst chance. Step forward if you wish to pledge your loyalty and kneel before Master Kamura. You may remain where you are if you wish to die."


    The crowd trembled, going pale in the face as they looked at each other.


    Both Karmon and Eagle''s spirit pressure filled the space, bringing about fierce winds that hacked at everyone''s pride and resolution.


    Kamura watched on, letting out a wildugh that echoed loudly.


    Atst, someone stepped up and got to their knees.


    After the first person had done so, a few more were quick to follow.


    Several people had chosen to surrender and pledge their loyalty.


    Only Robert and the three remaining cultivators came up to Roshan, glowering at Kamura and the rest.


    Kamura''s expression darkened, and Eagle shouted, "Are the few of you really trying to die?"


    "We''d rather die than be a traitor to another race!" Robert shouted.


    Roshan smiled bitterly, but his gaze shed with approval.


    Eagle and Karmon, however, flushed an ugly shade of purple at the words.


    The both of them absolutely could not stand even being associated with being traitors at all.


    Yet Roshan and his son had mentioned the word several times now, and the humiliation had long since turned to rage.


    "Let me kill these ungrateful bastards for you to show who has the real power here, Master!" Eagle turned to Kamura.


    Kamuraughed loudly. "Sure. Kill everyst one of these bastards! I want everyone to know just what will happen if they refuse to pledge their loyalty to me."


    Eagle shed a cold smile, wielding his swords as he made his way over to Roshan and the others.


    Roshan was now heavily wounded, and the others were at Ambience level at best. None of them would be any match for Eagle.


    However, these cultivators remained glowering at Eagle with no sign of backing down.


    Roshan stared coldly at Eagle. "Eagle, your name shall be disgraced for generations toe, and your grave spat on by the people of this country."


    "Well, at least I''m alive. You''re all going to die, anyway." Eagle seemed unaffected in the slightest, striding over to them as his swords lit up with roaring spirit mes.


    Roshan and the others closed their eyes.


    They knew that trying to fight back against a Sanctuary level cultivator would only humiliate them, and it was best to just face their fate as soon as possible.


    Eagle sneered coldly, bringing down the swords with tremendous force.


    Just then, two figures descended from the heavens with an explosive sound.


    An ominous sense of fear struck everyone.


    Eagle let out a cry, whipping his swords around to slice through a bullet hurtling toward him before retreating in a hurry to Kamura.


    Wilbur and Rydernded next to Roshan. Ryder was holding his super cannon, still ready to fire at any time.


    Wilbur nced at Roshan and the others with a sigh. "I''m sorry for beingte. Something got in the way."
