Roshan let out a cry at the veryst second, exploding with all his spirit energy
and putting his palms together in front of his chest.
A gigantic spirit amulet appeared in front of him.
"Thunderp Bullet."
As Roshan cried out the word, a Thunderp Bullet the size of a football appeared and shot toward Karmon.
This was the simplified version of the Thunderp Bullet, but it was the most powerful version Roshan could cast.
The Thunderp Bullet sparked with lightning, hurtling toward Karmon at a startling pace.
Karmon let out a roar as the bells surrounding him began to chime even harder. A sword aura spanning several meters long shot out of his sword, pletely crushing the Thunderp Bullet.
Rampant spirit energy flew around in the air as Karmon''s sword attack struck Roshan.
Roshan''s defensive spirit mes were put out at once as he was sent flying, spitting out a mouthful of fresh blood.
A figure appeared out of nowhere to catch Roshan''s figure beforending on the ground.
"Dad?" Robert held his father, tears in his eyes as he cried out the word.
Blood trickled out of Roshan''s mouth as he whispered, "Leave me here, and take your mother with you."
"No, I''m going to fight the enemy with you!" Robert said fervently.
Roshan sighed, shing a small smile. "Silly boy. You''re only at the Aura level. You won''t be any match for them. Don''t give up your life just like that. Go."
Tears flowed down Robert''s face.
He knew that he would be dead if he were to enter the battle, but how could he leave his own father behind to escape?
The thought made Robert grow with emotion. "It''s all that Trevor Penn''s fault! We would have never ended up here if he hadn''t agreed to the battle and ran away at thest minute!"
Roshan had nned beforehand in the event that Trevor did note and help, Roshan would have his family and the others leave first for him to take on the battle himself.
Upon Trevor''s agreement, however, Roshan felt like thebined strength of both him and Trevor would be enough to win the battle for sure, and thus abandoned the previous thought, only for something like this to happen.
Roshan sighed. "We can''t me him, either. He was never obligated to help us in the first ce, this is just our fate."
"Dad!" Robert buried his head in his father''s chest, bursting into sobs.
All the other Emerald Province cultivators were pale in the face, their hearts racing fearfully.
Karmon alone had heavily wounded Roshan.
Kamura had not even struck yet, as well as Eagle, the other Sanctuary level cultivator. Both of them were watching on from the side with murderous gazes.
Roshan was the strongest out of all the cultivators. Who was going to take on the battle now that he was heavily wounded?
A smug smile appeared on Karmon''s face as he retreated to stand next to Kamura.
Karmon was only in charge of the first n of attack. Kamura was the one who decided what Roshan and the others'' fate was going to be.
Kamura took a step forward, arms crossed as he smirked coldly. "Do you surrender, Roshan Stone?"
Roshan pushed his son off him and to the back, getting to his feet to stand facing Kamura as he croaked in a feeble yet determined voice, "I lost the battle, and therefore I must die, but everyone else here is innocent. You only challenged the Sanctuary level cultivators, so let these people leave."
"Is that so?" Kamura smirked.
Roshan frowned. "What do you want?"
"None of these people are leaving. Either pledge your loyalty to me or die. Those are the only choices you have," Kamura said coldly.
Roshan''s expression shifted, as panic overtook the people behind him as well.
