Chapter 1179

Faye and the others headed back across the bridge into Seke Ind as well.

Just then, Elsa called out, "You heard it yourselves. The authorities only showed up because you were causing a public disruption. The owner of the ce is letting you go because you''re all senior citizens, so just please go home and leave this ce alone."

"And if you reporters dare make up any rumors to cause the public to send hate to innocent people, you''re going to get it too! Do you understand?"

Elsa''s shout made everyone calm down a considerable amount. After all, she was a Special Forces chief with a hundred officers working under her.

Just then, Wade leaned into Susan''s ear. He whispered a few sentences, to which Susan reacted with a satisfied nod.

She turned back to Elsa then. "We''ll leave, but this isn''t over. We''ve got it out for this ce. Just you wait."

Upon saying that, she waved at the old folks.

They got up with smiles of victory on their faces, leaving with Susan.

The reporters were all smiles as they left as well.

Elsa smirked coldly. She dismissed the officers and headed back to the ind.

    Over in Wilbur''s room.

Wilbur, Elsa, Faron, Faye, and the others were sitting in themon area.

Faye was the first to speak. "These people are a little too much."

"Yeah, they really think they can do whatever they want just because they''re just that much older," said Faron coldly.

    Wilbur frowned. "Someone''s behind this."

"What do you mean by that?" asked Faye.

"These old folks haven''t nearly got the brains to be doing all this. Someone''s pulling strings in the dark."

"Who do you think it is?" asked Elsa.

"I don''t know, but I think we''ll have an answer once we look up that Susandy and that reporter, Wade."

Faye was certain that if Susan was the leader of the fitness group, the reporter would probably be connected to her in some way for sure.

Just then, Faron said, "Alright, then. Elsa and I will get to the bottom of this by the end of tomorrow."

"I don''t just want an answer, I want leverage on these bastards. They need to be taught a lesson." Wilbur''s expression was positively murderous.

These people had chosen to start trouble with him, out of all people. There was no way he was going to let this go without giving them a taste of their own medicine.

Elsa nodded. "Don''t worry, we''ll get them for sure. Just you wait."

    Wilbur nodded quietly.

    ...

Over in one of the mansions in the neighborhood near Seke Ind, Susan sat on the couch in the living room. Next to her was a man in his forties. The two of them shared a mild resemnce in their looks, and it was clear they were mother and son.

Standing across them was none other than Wade, the reporter, looking nothing but meek and respectful.

"You''re the man, Jayden. That''s going to make sure they do whatever we want." Susan was all smiles, hanging onto her son''s hand.

Wade piped up at once. "My thoughts exactly! That guy''s an idiot for thinking he can do anything to Mister Jayden Yown''s mother, that''s for sure! You''re not the town''s deputy director for no reason."

"These people think they can do whatever they want in Seechertown just because they''ve got a bit of money. Ha! Power is the most important thing in a world like this! I''m going to give him hell for talking back to my mother," Jayden said with a dark smile.

Wade nodded profusely. "I have no doubt you''ll do that, Mister Yown! The bastard doesn''t know what''sing for him. He should be honored that your mother even picked his ce to exercise!"
