    A long whileter, he snapped out of his stupor and shouted, "Get Sophie Hoy in here, right now!"


    Someone at the door called out in response, and Sophie was brought in not long after.


    Yannick was all smiles as he invited Sophie to sit down, even brewing a cup of tea for her personally.


    Sophie eyed Yannick warily, who smiled at her. "Miss Hoy, you''ve been promoted to supervisor of telmunications. Your duty from now on is to make sure everyone else does their job well, and nothing else.


    "Huh? Why?" Sophie was clearly surprised.


    Yannick smiled. "Ah, you must not know yet. Your cousin Mister Penn''s now the head of security at Leeker Corp."


    Sophie''s expression turned dazed.


    "Oh right, you probably don''t know what Leeker Corp is either. That''s thergestpany in all of Mewatown. Madam Demi Madres is the CEO of thepany, which means your cousin made it big. He also killed one of Leeker''s most established elders not long aftering into position, to which Madam Madres did nothing at all! Just imagine how highly she must think of your cousin," said Yannick with a smile.


    Sophie reacted atst, showing a slightly startled look before breaking out into a happy smile.


    Yannick smiled back at her. "Truly powerful people will make a name for themselves no matter where they go. I hope you''ll be able to put in a good word to him for me, Miss Hoy."


    "I''ll do that when I have a chance," nodded Sophie.


    Yannick nodded profusely. "Alright, then. You can have the rest of the day off. I''ll announce your new position to everyone tomorrow, and you can start work as head of telmunications tomorrow."


    Sophie nodded, and Yannick got up to walk her out of his office.


    Sophie was brought to her own room after that, which was decorated even morevishly than in a five-star hotel.


    She closed the door, and her expression turned solemn at once.


    Wilbur had definitely gone rogue.


    He was now making a million dors a month as the head of security at Leeker Corp.


    He has obtained both money and power.


    How many people could resist a temptation like that?


    He had even killed others to climb up in the ranks. It seemed like this man would stop at nothing to get what he wanted. Dasha had made a great mistake sending him over.


    Someone like that would only bring trouble to the government.


    Sophie could not let this happen.


    She clenched her fists, swearing to herself that she was going to find a chance to confront Wilbur.


    If he had really gone rogue, she was going to make sure the bastard perished here, even if it meant exposing herself.


    At the same time, Wilbur had followed Demi to an executive suite in the most luxurious hotel in Mewatown.


    There was a middle-aged man with Western features sitting on the sofa. He was dressed formally and smoking a cigar.


    Two bodyguards stood behind him, radiating an air of authority.


    Demi smiled when she saw him and extended a hand. "Wee to Mewatown, Mister Smith."


    Smith smiled, standing up to shake Demi''s hand.


    The two of them sat down after that, and Smith got straight to the point. "Are the hundred women ready, Demi?"


    "Yes, of course. I can hand them over to you anytime," Demi replied with a smile. Smith returned a smile and gave Wilbur a passing nce.


    "He''s a spy from Dasha!" Smith shouted all of a sudden. The two bodyguards behind him rushed over at once, surrounding Wilbur from both sides.
