Chapter 1104

A spiritual fist burst forth, striking Chastin right in the chest.

Chastin''s chest caved inpletely, and a spray of blood painted everything behind him.

He looked down at his chest in disbelief and shock as he slowly copsed to the ground.

The other department heads could hardly believe their eyes either, staring at Chastin''s corpse in shock.

The other workers felt the same, staring dumbly at Wilbur.

This man had dared to kill Chastin with no proof, taking out one of the most respected elders in Leeker Corp, as well as one of Demi''s best men.

Demi was shocked as well. It was clear that she was caught off guard by Wilbur''s skills.

She quicklyposed herself the next second, arching her eyebrow, then asked, "How dare you kill him in front of me when you have no proof, Wilbur?"

"He doesn''t respect you at all, Madam! Make sure he''s punished severely, please."

"That''s right, Madam! How are we going to work in peace if you don''t punish Wilbur after this?"

"He needs to be locked up at once and sternly interrogated."

The department heads spoke up the second they returned to their senses, calling for Demi to punish Wilbur and give him hell.

What Wilbur had just done had crossed the line.

This was an act of disrespect to them, as well as to Demi.

If they let Wilbur get out of this, how would the department heads be able to hold

    up their power in thepany?

Just then, however, Demi smirked coldly.

    "Wilbur, exin yourself."

"I was at a barst night, Madam. On the way back, I was targeted by two marksmen. I was thankfully able to avoid the surprise attack and take down both marksmen. I interrogated one of them, and they offered Chastin''s name," said Wilbur.

He took out a bullet shell, passing it to Demi. "Feel free to take a look at that, Madam, and tell me if it''s from our own system."

    Demi nced at the shell.

It was the shell of the regr sniper ammo used by their military.

Her expression darkened at once. "This shell is used by the Mewa Border military.

This is the work of an insider. Wilbur was right."

The department heads were at a loss for words.

They had specifically told Chastin to have the marksmen use regr bullets so that they would not kill Wilburpletely or leave behind any evidence.

Now that Demi had confirmed that the bullet belonged to their own forces, these department heads were starting to suspect that the marksmen had forgotten about the reminder and had taken the wrong bullet.

It was important to note that their ammo had special markings of their own.

"Was anyone else from here a part of this?" Demi asked coldly.

The department heads trembled, shaking their heads profusely.

"We didn''t know anything about this, Madam."

"Of course not. We would never do that."

"I''ve got nothing to do with it for sure, Madam! I was out drinkingst night, I have no idea what happened."

The department heads scrambled for an exnation.

Demi sneered. "I hope that''s the case. However, if I find out about anyone trying

to start internal conflict, they''ll end up just like Chastin."

The department heads'' chests lurched, understanding the underlying message.

Demi''s words were clearly meant for them.

These department heads had profited quite a bit in secret over the past few years. Had Demi already noticed everything?

The thought made everyone break out into a cold sweat.

Just then, Demi said coldly, "Clean this mess up. Chastin''s duties will temporarily

be assigned to the deputy director. Come with me, Wilbur. I''ve got a client to meet."

She turned to leave after that.

Wilbur looked at the department heads around him, sneering coldly before following after Demi.

The department heads trembled, fleeing into their respective offices at once.
