Chapter 2731

Frank smiled and nodded. "Ladies like you are rare these days."

"Drunken Moon snapped her fingers, grinning. "That''s exactly why we need to

work hard to eliminate all the terrible women. There would be more good girls that

    way, don''t you agree?

"I''m not out to make men happy-just to set a standard for my fellow girls. Not

everything is ck and white, since anything can be rtive. Even if men were all

gone, bad women would still be bad women. Don''t you agree?"

    Frank nodded in agreement.

Thirty minutester, the stout Mr. Creston sat up on the bed, clearly startled.

Frank, who was watching from a bird''s eye view, was caught by surprise-how did

    that man sense his presence?

Still, he understood when he saw that Mr. Creston was holding a gleaming yellow

    talisman.

Shock soon turned to curiosity as Frank thought most street geomancers these

days were conmen, but somehow, a working talisman was there right in front of

    him.

Hence, Frank made up his mind to find them right then.

"I know you''re near!" Mr. Creston shouted just then and pressed the talisman over

his forehead, looking around warily. "I got this talisman from a powerful shaman.

You can''t hurt me when I have this!"

Frank smiled in wry amusement. "I''ll admit that the talisman is good enough to

help you detect my presence, but so what? Did you really think that it''d work

    against me?"

Even as Frank''s voice resounded from every direction, Mr. Creston iled his

arms but simply could not reach him.

Soon, Frank even plucked the talisman off Mr. Creston''s head, waving it in front of

him and asking, "How does this thing work? Yet another trick that I can''t imitate-

    how interesting."

It went without saying that Mr. Creston was astonished.

Damn it, the geomancer made it clear that the talisman would work against all

malice, but Frank waspletely fearless against it!

Still, it made sense,e to think of it.

If Frank was here, that meant that the elite goons Mr. Creston had sent after him

    were already defeated.

And at that level, dealing with a mere talisman was easy.

Throwing his hands up, Mr. Creston

cried, "Let''s stop this madness, man!

I admit that I''ve made a mistake, but

you shouldn''t go too far either-I

    never hurt anyone!"

Frank smiled in wry amusement. "I

just heard someone say this, but you

wouldn''t spare me if the tables

turned and I were in your shoes.

Makes a lot of sense, doesn''t it?"

Mr. Creston certainly had to agree-if he were in Frank''s shoes right now, he

would being up with plenty off ways to torture Frank.

Regrettably for him, that was not the case, so all he could do was vehemently

    deny it.

"Come on, man," he reasoned. "Do

me a solid here, and let me off this

once. I''ll give you all the money you

can have-let''s just put this behind

    us."

Frank sighed. "Sorry, but I''m neither interested in money or women. In fact, I''m

quite rich even without your dirty money.

"Still, it''s not like you have no chance-just tell me who gave you that talisman?"

Mr. Creston really thought he had a shot at survival right then.

He did not believe that Frank was actually in it and interpreted it as Frank''s way of

    letting him off the hook.

In that case, he definitely had to take it!

"She calls herself Reverend Quietus-a geomancer whom I met when I first came

here, and she left me her number."
