Chapter 2724

Damn their horrible luck! They would not be in this situation if Lanky Man was not

eager to get himself a wife!

Meanwhile, as Frank and Drunken Moon left, thetter giggled and asked, "Hey,

could youe along while I visit a friend? It''s rare that I can be out and about,

so I''ll just treat this as a holiday. That means I should properly unwind instead of

    going back right away."

Frank nodded. He had nothing else to do anyway and followed Drunken Moon to

    a luxurious residential area.

They could have entered directly, but since Drunken Moon did not know which

house her friend lived in, she asked the security guard, "Do you know Zein

Dunham? I''m a friend. Would you happen to know where he lives?"

Though Drunken Moon was very polite, the security guard studied her from head

to toe before scowling in contempt. "You can''t go in without an appointment,dy,

and I definitely can''t give you any resident''s address either-I''d get fired."

Stepping out of the security shack, Drunken Moon appeared exasperated as she

    asked Frank, "Any ideas?"

Frank was perplexed. "Don''t you have your friend''s number? Can''t you just call

    him toe get you?"

Drunken Moon smiled, shaking her head. "I used to, but he switched numbers

    without telling me..."

Frank nodded-she did not leave Mount Statera often and could easily get out of

    touch with friends.

"Alright, let me try," he said and suddenly disappeared.

Sneaking into the security shack, he cast a shroud over it, leaving it in utter

    darkness.

Terrified, the security guard quickly reached for the light, only to find that he could

not turn it on-Frank had already sabotaged it!

"Hello!" Frank spoke quietly in the darkness.

Terrified, the security fell on his rear as he eximed, "W-Who are you?! W-Why

    are you haunting death?!"

    "I died... so horribly!"

Frank shrieked like a grudge spirit

    would, ignoring the security guard''s

    question and almost knocking him

out. "I swear to god, I''ve only ever

done good in this life and nothing

bad! Why are you haunting me?!"

Naturally, Frank kept ignoring him and continued, "Zein Dunham... I''ll kill you!"

The security guard realized with a start that the ''grudge spirit'' was here for Zein

    He would definitely have smelled

    something fishy on any other

    asion. After all, right after

    someone asked after Zein, a

    so-called grudge spirit was stating

    him by name too?

However, things were too dire for the security guard to think rationally right now.

He promptly told Frank where Zein lived before begging, "Please! This has

nothing to do with me-I''m just a security guard, so I''m begging you to just spare

    my life!"

Frank once again ignored him, though he did restore the lights to the security

    shack.

The security sighed in relief and took a pill to still his pounding heart while spacing

out as he wiped the sweat off his brow.

Damn it-he just wanted some spare cash for his retirement, but this ce had to

    be haunted!

Meanwhile, Frank returned to Drunken Moon and told her where Zein lived.

Then, he carried her and entered thepound.

As they knocked on the door and waited, Drunken Moon smiled. "That security

guard won''t forget that for the rest of his life."

    Frank smiled. "Don''t worry-people

    are surprisingly resilient, and that

man isn''t the type to stay depressed.

I had no choice either, so I just have

to trust that he''ll understand what he

    finds out."

Drunken Moon nodded. "True. The only other option is to attack him anyway, and

    that''s much worse."
