Chapter 16 Spend the Night with Me


    I just arrived at the staircase when a big hand seized me. I stiffened but was ready to hit back, out of


    instincts. What stopped me from hitting back was a chiselled face looking at me at close range and


    carrying a slight smile.


    “Mr. Quinn, it’s you!” I was astonished.


    “Are you very surprised?” When he realized that I recognized him, Keh Quinn quickly let go of me.


    Then he stared at my face andmented with a frown, “Hmm, I think you look better without


    makeup.”


    “… makeup is for work.” I mocked.


    “Well, the saying goes, ‘a girl dolls herself up for her admirer’, your makeup is so ugly, because you


    don’t have an admirer, do you?”


    “Er … it isn’t so bad, or?” I touched my face, feeling deeply embarrassed. Luckily, it was already dark,

    your party? How big a room do you require?”


    “Just myself!”


    “… then let me get you a small room.”


    I led him into a small room. Just as we barely stepped into the room, he pressed me against the wall.


    He started kissing me forcefully. That caught me off guardpletely, yet I did not push him away.
