Chapter 11
It was time for our triple dinner date and also when I was going to be seeing Ashley for the first time
since...you know. The boys said we should not wear gowns because they wanted us to ''relive'' our
teenage lives which led to me wearing a blue denim jeans and a red tank top with a ck denim jacket
and ck ankle boots. I tied my hair up In a neat bun and put on some powder and mascara with a
pink lip gloss so to be honest, I looked good.
"Beth, it''s time to go" I informed her. She came out looking cute. She was wearing a cute ocean blue
shirt with a denim overall shorts and white converses. She did a twin braid.
"A, you look so cute. Are you dressing up for Mikey." I cooed and teased her. She blushed a little.
"Stop it. Let''s go" she ordered and we left the apartment. I saw Scott waiting outside and boy was I
d to see him. He had ok a ck trouser and grey jumper shirt with which made his muscles bulge
out of the shirt and ck converses.
"A picture would be better you know" he said and smirked. I rolled my eyes at his huge ego.
"Yeah, keep dreaming" we entered the car and left to Ashley''s.
"Are You sure I can drop Beth off at Ashley''s?" I asked him.
"Yes Miley and what are you worried about Miley. You haven''t even met her. In fact, when I said we
could drop off bet at Ashley''s at first, how did you know that it was Ashley Benson I was speaking of?"
He asked suspiciously. Fuck. I have to look for a lie to cover up. I let out a nervousugh.
"Mia told me about her high school experience and also told me about her. That''s why I was afraid of
dropping her off at Ashley''s" I lied smoothly.
"Oh...oh.. Yeah, how is mi-Emilia doing?" He asked which made me want to smile but I''m Emily Patson
who is his girlfriend not me Emilia so I had to frown.
"Why do you ask?"
"Nothing. You know what,...forget I asked."
"Good" I said. We driver in an awkward silence and then it hit me, he didn''t evenplement me. I

"You didn''tplement me Scott." I told him which made him widen his eyes and started muttering
curses under his breath.
"Uh, you see... I was amazed by your beauty that no word could describe how beautiful you looked.
Yeah, no word." He said and smiled but it didn''t quite reach his eyes. He just said it for saying sake. I
know he didn''t mean any word he said. I can feel it but I had to y along. I gave him a big smile and
kissed him on the cheek.
"You don''t look too bad yourself." Iplemented him.
"I look ravishingly hot baby" he said and winked making my cheeks red.
"Shut up. There''s a little girl in this car." I informed him. We reached Ashley''s and saw that the group
was already here. We knocked on her door and every knock made my heart a million times faster than
its normal beating. The door opened and behold was the girl who hated me. Ashley Benson. She was
really pretty now. Her fake extension hair was now a real dirty blonde hair which was in a pony tail. Her
caked up Barbie doll makeup was now a minimum of a lip gloss, some powder and mascara. Her tight
mini skirts and crop tops were now a jean, and a cute shirt.. She gave me a big smile.
"Emilia!! What a surprise" and before I could react, she was hugging the life out of me already. I was
shocked about what she just did same as Scott because the shock was written all over his face.
"Come in. Come in" she gestured for us to entered and we entered inside.
"So you still managed to hold up Scott after all this years eh?" She teased with a smirk. I was still

dazed. This is the girl who bullied me throughout my middle school and part of my high school.
"This is not Emilia Ashley" Scott said breaking the silence.
"Then who''s this?"
"This is Emily. Emily Patson. She works in mypany". I had to fake so I smiled and shook her hand.
"Oh...oh... Then, what about Emilia?" She asked.
"We broke up"
"He''s mine now" we both said at the same time and then looked at each other shocked and looked
back at Ashley who seemed amused about the situation.
"Uhm, okay. Sorry, I mistook you for another person. You just look so much like her." She said and I
nodded my head.
"I understand. I''ve been getting that a lot." I told her.
"Well, you guys should start going." She said and I remembered Taylor, ke, Michelle and Eric were
here also. I hugged them all but something surprised me. When I hugged ke, I heard him mutter
''beautiful as always'' but I don''t know if it was my imagination or so.. We left to our cars and the boys
blindfolded us. We didn''t know where they were taking us to.
"Are we there yet?" I kept asking Scott and he continued answering,
"We''ll soon be there." we Finally got there but we were still blindfolded.
"We''ll be removing the Blindfolds now but your eyes should still be closed okay?" They said and I
nodded. They removed the blindfolds and our eyes were still closed.
"You can open them now." They said and we did. I was awestruck and then I remembered. It was the
cliff Scott took me-Emilia to. They decorated the ce with lights and then there were nkets spread
on the floor with pic baskets in each of them. It was like a midnight pic.
"Wow" we all breathed out at the same time.
"This is beautiful Scott" I whispered to him. A pair of familiar arms wrapped around my waist.
"Your beautiful" he said making me blush. "Common" he said and took my hand. We went to sit on one
of the pic nkets. He opened the basket and there were so many goodies. Ham burgers, PBJ
sandwiches and skittles, m&m, KitKat and other delicious sugared foods. I looked at them hungrily.
"I knew you''d like them" he teased with a smirk.
"Shut up" I said and started stuffing my mouth with sugar filled goodies. I ate some burgers and
sandwiches then stuffed more sugar.
"I am so full" I said with a sigh. I looked at Scott and saw he was looking at me. Amused.
"What? Why are you looking at me?" I asked.
"You. You look so much like...like her." He said and sighs dreamily. oh Scott . I had to y angry so I
did. I stood up angrily and left.
"Wait Miley, where are you going?" he said and grabbed my wrist but I yanked it away.
"Leave me alone. All you ever talk about is how I look like her. Do you still love her Scott. Huh. Do
you!!!?"
"Yes I still fucking do!!!!! Okay, I still fucking love her!!!! But that''s why I want to try to forget about her
and I want to do it with you okay?" He said exasperated. I knew it. He still loves me-Emilia. I wish I
could tell him its me, Emilia and I still love him but I can''t so I continue faking.
"Scott please...stop talking about her every time okay? I''m your girlfriend now not her okay?" I pleaded
fakingly when I was jumping happily inside.
"I will. I''m Sorry I hurt you. I''ll stop talking about her." He said and hugged me and I hugged him back. A
throat cleared and I realized it was ke, his jaw was kind of clenched in a way. They might''ve heard
everything but didn''t say anything about it.
"So...Miley, did you like the surprise they gave us?" Taylor asked breaking the silence and easing up
the tension. I owe you Tay. We all left to our cars and went back to Ashley''s. Ashley opened the door
and gave us a nervousugh.
"You guys are back early." She said. I shared a look with Taylor and we knew something was wrong.
"Its already 11 Ashley. We are reallyte." I informed her and it look she wanted to re at me but then
hid it with a smile.
"Well,e in. Let me just go get them" she said and hurried upstairs. She came back in with them
and they looked okay which was surprising. Maybe, she did turn over a new leaf after all. We thanked
her and were about to leave when she hugged me making four words letting me know she didn''t turn
over a new leaf and made me have sleepless nights.
