“I am first of all going to start with the restaurant part of the …” E had just started talking when Liza, who had been looking for the least opportunity to discredit her, interrupted her mockingly.


    “You made us wait here to talk about a restaurant where there are restaurants everywhere?”

After looking at Elion, she smiled and continued with her exposition.

    Raisa reciprocated the hug and nodded in satisfaction. The remaining five that had to sign after the presentation immediately signed the agreement and going through the signed agreements, E saw Elion’s signature for the very first time and was shocked. She had seen the exact signature somewhere but couldn’t really recall where exactly. Just when she was about going to the next agreement, she suddenly recalled where she saw the signature. It was the same as that of her disabled husband four years ago and this reality stoke her like a tornado. In order to confirm her suspicions, she sought out Henry’s agreement and checked his signature and was shocked to see that it looked exactly like that of her brother-inw four years ago. She looked at the signatures again and looked at Elion who had not gotten his eyes off her ever since she stepped in. E walked up to Elion without anyone noticing since they were all going through the documented project that had just been presented and Elion, E, Henry and Raisa equally didn’t reveal the tension at the moment. She looked at Elion who was  looking at her with so much lust and passion. E was about tearing up and Elion and Henry were confused about what the issue was and before they could say anything, E’s question confused them the most.


    “My husband of four years ago does not actually exist right?” Seeing the shock on their faces, E continued.


    “Even his brother doesn’t exist right?”


    “What are you talking about?” Elion asked with so much affection in his voice.


    “You really want to know what I’m talking about? Aren’t you the one to exin to me what I’m talking about?” She ced the two agreements containing the two signatures on the table in front of Elion before she continued. “The two signatures in front of you are the same as that of my husband and brother-inw of four years ago who disappeared the same day you two came into the picture.”


    Hearing this, Elion and Henry thought E had misunderstood the whole thing and Elion tried denouncing her suspicions but was stunned by E’s response.


    “My girl, nothing happened to your husband or his brother. I didn’t harm them…”


    “You didn’t harm them because they didn’t exist. That man of four years ago was actually you and his brother; your PA here. Why did you have to deceive me? Why? That’s the reason why you constantly reminded me that I am a married woman? So, no one actually sold me to you?”


    “Your foster parents did.” Elion responded like a child trying to defend himself. The tension on their faces and voices were so strong but they had to keep their voices low for fear of revealing things. Just then, Liza and Maya were done going through the project only to lift their heads to see Elion and E staring into each other’s eyes and the atmosphere around them was very tense. Liza quickly called out to Elion and started attacking E with words.


    “Elion, is everything okay?” Liza’s concerned voice was what finally brought the two of them back to their senses and they both looked at Liza at the same time and Liza who was angry with E couldn’t hold it anymore.


    “Miss, what right do you think you have to try to intimidate Elion?” Liza’s words made everyone look towards Elion and E in anticipation.


    “And who do you think you are to question me?” She turned to Elion and added. “Warn this your dog not to bark at just everyone else’s, I will let my PA show her the difference between a toothless bulldog and a dog that doesn’t bark at all but whose bite is a timely bomb.”


    E’s words made Liza more angry and she responded victoriously.”


    “His best friend,  I am his childhood friend, the only one who knows everything about him.”


    E burst outughing after listening to Liza and she responded mockingly.


    “Oh Liza, you are indeed his childhood friend?”


    “Yes, the only one that has been with him since he was just 5 years old.” Liza said like the firstdy.


    “Oh I see, didn’t you just say you know everything about him?” E asked sarcastically with folded arms.


    “Everything miss. I know everything.” Liza responded and E turned to Elion and the manner at which she addressed Elion and what she said next shocked everyone to the core because it was something none could ever imagine especially Liza. Even Elion and Henry were shocked to the core and this was the first time that Elion was visibly shocked.


    “Oh I see. Elion, so she’s aware you got married four years ago?” Elion was stunned but at the same time very pleased because since he saw E in the morning, he suddenly developed the burning desire to shout it out loud to the whole world that E is his wife and the onlydy he had ever loved.


    “Married? Elion?” Liza asked andughed out mockingly.


    “For your information, Elion is not married and doesn’t even have ns to do so anytime soon.”
