 A Walk To The Unknown Future

    E was lying hopelessly on the cold veranda with her head ced on a worn out ¡°Ghana must go¡±; a bag which was made up of her old fashioned dresses. In tears, she kept turning and turning on the cold veranda till the early morning cock crowed. With red and swollen eyes, E stood still as she was lost in thoughts. Today was her wedding ceremony with a disabled and disfigured man who, ording to him, got burned at the age of three.


    E had earlier made up her mind to run away from Mr. Madison¡¯s family. She was a poor orphan who had no background and family. She didn¡¯t know her biological parents, any family members or where she came from. All she knew about herself was that she had been working as a maid in Mr. Madison¡¯s house as far back as when she can still remember. Apart from this information, she had no idea of who she really was. All her life, E had been hated and maltreated by this family and the reason they gave to justify their ill treatment was that her parents owed them a lot of money and so, she was given to them as a ransom.


    While she was still lost in thoughts, Maya ran out through the back door and poured a bowl of cold water on E, the cold from the water and morning breeze was nothingpared to the cold in her heart for she has never known how it feels to be warm. The next second, Maya dashed into the house and stumbled into her bedroom, she opened her wardrobe and picked up her electric iron and sockets it into the distributor. Standing at akimbo with an evil smile, she looked at the hot iron and said evilly.

    Noticing that the iron was very heated, she dashed out of her bedroom with the iron and vanished down the stairs as though she was being chased by death¡­


    E suddenly regained herself and sighed as tears flowed uncontrobly down her cheeks soaking all the dress around her chest. She had no idea that her face was being targeted with a hot iron but coincidentally, she had turned to walk into the garden and something hit her very hard on her back and before she could even turn to see what it was, she felt the flesh on her back being pulled, and skinned mercilessly. She did not have time to think straight because the pain on her back was unbearable. She tried to creep away but someone was pushing her down with all her might with the same object that seemed to have skinned her flesh. With gnashed teeth, she gathered all her strength and stood up. Maya didn¡¯t see thising so before she could understand what was happening, shended on the ground with her back hitting the ground so hard. A sharp cry escaped her mouth that ran directly into the house and into her parents¡¯ ears who were still cuddling under the quilt.


    As if they were struck by lightning, they dashed out of the bedroom barefooted.


    Maya, as the spoiled brat that she was, quickly passed the iron to E.

    Just as she took the iron and was about to turn and walk into the house, Maya suddenly looked at her parents with a sorrowful face and without any question, Mr. Madisonnded a deadly p on E¡¯s right jaw and she lost her bnce. Just as she manages to gain herposure, Mrs. Madison pped her other jaw pushing E to fall to the ground and hit her already burned back. She groaned out in pains and realising that her parents are about to let go of E, Maya stood and felt on her mother¡¯s chest while crying and cursing;

    Asked Mrs. Madison


    With so much hatred burning within her, Maya pointed at E.

    E who was still on the ground in pains suddenly felt a sharp pain on her chest and as though she was about to take thest bullet, she supported her legs with her hands and she painfully stood up and stared at the Madisons with gritted teeth as if she was suppressing her pains to say something. Mr. Madison scanned her from head to toe and asked impatiently

    With eyes as though they were about to be shot forever, the word ¡°I¡¯m sorry¡± escaped her mouth like a whisper.


    Crossing her hands on her chest, Maya pretended she didn¡¯t hear anything and arrogantly asked.

    E had almost by-passed Maya but suddenly came to a halt when she heard her and without a second thought, she forcefully raised her voice in pain and coughed out.

    Mrs. Madison scanned her from head to toe and covered her nostrils as she yelled out.


    ¡°You stinky poor thing, hurry up and freshen up, let¡¯s hurry to the City Council for the signing of your marriage.¡±


    Immediately E heard the word marriage, she suddenly stopped on the same track and without looking back, she tilted her head from left to right in disappointment and walked into a small bathroom in the gate man¡¯s house attached to the gate.


    After she freshened up, she picked up a faded towel and dried her face gently. She moved to her neck and other parts of her body. When she was done, she stretched her hand and her handnded on a small but old body cream container. She dropped some body cream on her right palm and after she covered it, she mixed the cream and gently brought her hands to her face while looking at the mirror but her actions soon came to a halt and she wondered aloud.


    ¡°Didn¡¯t I just wash my face? Where is all this water from? E, there¡¯s no need to cry because no amount of tears will save you.¡±


    Without hesitating, she applied the cream on her palms on her body before she picked up the faded towel to wipe her face.


    An impatient voice rang from outside


    ¡°Where is this useless girl? Better hurry up, we can¡¯t keep your husband and his people waiting.¡± Mrs. Madison stormed back towards the car.


    Meanwhile after hearing that her husband was already waiting at the Civil Council, E broke down in tears again but in the next one minute, she was already done dressing up.


    With her eyes fixed on her old ballery white shoe, she walked out of the gate man¡¯s house in aplete state of abandonment. As soon as she stepped out, she couldn¡¯t help but to hold on to the edges of her worn out gown as she took questionable steps towards the Madisons¡¯ convoy.


    As she got closer, she lifted her right hand to open the car door but all the three cars suddenly sped up causing her to lose bnce but couldn¡¯t fall because she managed to bnce herself with her eyes still fixed on the three cars speeding off.


    After she wiped her eye, E hurried towards the gate and just as she was about to step out of the gate, she ran into Nanny Ruth; an olddy in herte forties who happens to be Maya¡¯s nanny since the very moment she had her first cry.

 The Groanings Of A Bride

    E flew towards the money as though it was about to disappear. As soon as she picked it up, she dashed towards nanny Ruth and gave her a tight hug which took nanny Ruth by surprise.

    Without waiting for her to respond, E buried her face on nanny Ruth¡¯s right shoulder and hugged her emotionally.


    She let her cry on her shoulders for some time. Just when she opened her mouth to say something, E suddenly sobbed and spoke out.

    Nanny Ruth gently patted her back before smiling at her.

    E nodded and ran out of the gate and kept running till she finally stopped a cab. After settling in the cab, she quickly told the driver where she was heading to and in half an hour, she finally arrived in front of the City Council.


    She alighted from the taxi with so much fear and gradually stepped into the premises. The first wedding of the day seemed to have just ended and they were taking pictures gleefully.


    As she walked past them, everyone including the photographer turned towards her direction and she could hear all their whispers.

    After she ran her eyes at everyone in the hall, she suddenly stood up and yelled at E to the dismay of everyone. Steven equally looked at her in anticipation and after seeing that she has sessfully drawn the attention of everyone, she stood up and stormed towards E shading crocodile tears;

    E was stunned by her acting skills.


    Maya saw how pale E had be and became very bold again to disgrace her further.

Mrs. Madison and Maya had taken her to a bridal shop and had chosen a dress for her personally. Everyone in the shop praised her for taking time out of her busy schedule just to pick a wedding dress for her external family.


    That morning, Mrs. Madison had persuaded Maya to lend her makeup kit to E and one of her red gowns that cut across her knees of which it was only after she had given Maya $2000 that she unwillingly dragged E into her bedroom. After she applied light make up on E¡¯s face, she threw the red gown on her face, and after grabbing the gown, she sincerely thanked Maya before returning to the veranda where she slept to dress up. After she dressed up, they left together and got into the same car which took them to the bridal shop. As they alighted from the car, all eyes were on them and many envied the family of mother and two daughters. While at the shop, the manager personally attended to them giving them a VIP treatment.


    She brought out a very nice dress and helped E to measure it, as soon as she did, all eyes were on her. She looked so pretty in her handless wedding dress which cut across her chest slightly over her breasts with sparkling particles of blue diamond falling over her breasts.     E looked so cheerful in the wedding dress.


    Mrs. Madison brought out her phone and took a lot of pictures. And immediately they were done taking pictures, Mrs. Madison paid for the dress and the Manager personally parcelled it with all the essories and handed it to Maya and that was thest time E saw the dress.


    Thinking of this, E felt weak and almost fell down but managed to hold her bnce.


    Seeing that everyone was on her side, Mayanded another p on E¡¯s jaw and she took some steps backward before she could regain her bnce. After she bnced herself and stood up again, she looked at Maya with frustrated eyes because she was tired of the drama.

    E wiped her eyes and stared at Elion Copper with determination and just then the Lord Mayor, dressed in a ck suit, stood up and asked if there was anyone who didn¡¯t want the wedding to hold.


    Mr. Madison, who had been quiet all along, stood up and spoke to the Lord Mayor with so much respect.

    Just then, E walked down the aisle and stood beside Elion Copper who was sitting on the wheelchair in front of the Lord Mayor and smiled.

 He Abandoned Me Her At The Altar

    Without even a nce at his wife, Elion signed and rolled his wheelchair to face the crowd as if he wanted to scare them.


    Immediately he faced the crowd, the whole hall fell into exmations.


    ¡°This man looks like the devil himself.¡± Said the girl in the red gown


    ¡°I now believe that E has some skeletons in her cupboard. If not, she won¡¯t marry this type of creature.¡± The man in histe 60s said frankly.


    ¡°This man happens to be Old Master Copper; the richest man from the Eastern City. He is the father of Elion Copper and is the only one aside from Elion and Henry that knows what was happening.


    ¡°E has really wasted her beauty. How can a beautiful girl like her marry this type of creature?¡± Maya¡¯s friend asked.


    As soon as E signed, Maya signed and gave E a hug. She hugged her as though E was some sought of garbage which she couldn¡¯t get close to.

    E looked at Maya and said nothing. She had no emotions on her face and no one could dictate whether she was happy, sad or angry.


    Immediately Elion¡¯s witness signed, he took the certificates and carefully ced them into a sea blue file before he turned, bent and whispered into Elion¡¯s left ear.


    Elion didn¡¯t wait for the Lord Mayor to introduce them as the newly wedded couple. He simply held the handles of his wheelchair firmly and rolled himself out of the hall without ncing at E.


    Elion¡¯s witness was called Henry. He was in his early thirties just like Elion and he happened to be Elion¡¯s personal Assistant but since Elion had kept a low profile since he was born, no one knew him nor his Personal Assistant except for their close rtives.


    Henry Followed Elion without saying a word to E and she remained at the same spot as she witnessed them walking out of her as though she didn¡¯t exist. They finally reached the door and disappeared from everyone¡¯s sight.


    Tears rolled down E¡¯s eyes and she looked at the floor in order to avoid the mocking gazes from the crowd.


    ¡°Did your terrifying husband abandon you just after signing the marriage?¡± One of Maya¡¯s friends said aloud, causing others to start questioning E.

    Tears continued to flow down E¡¯s cheeks and after a series of sobs, she wiped her tears sorrowfully as she wondered to herself


    ¡°So where do I go? I can¡¯t go back to the Madisons and my husband has abandoned me here. I don¡¯t even know where he lives.¡± E kept battling with these questions in her mind and suddenly burst out crying and fell to her knees. Just then, someone coughed at the door and everyone turned towards the door.


    They looked at Henry who stood still by the door motionless and with no emotions on his face. Everyone was staring at him and he was staring back at them without altering a word and E was confused and scared at the same time whether to walk up to Henry.

 Married To A Farmer

    When E finally looked at the door and saw Henry, she quickly wiped her eyes and opened her mouth in shock.


    Henry stood there looking at her indifferently and after scaring the hell out of her with his indifferent stare, he finally beckoned her toe and without waiting for her, he turned and walked back to the gate of the City Council.


    E stood up and hurried out of the hall ignoring all the insults, mockeries and stares.


    As soon as she stepped out, she looked around as if she was looking for her saviour. Her eyes fell on the two men at the gate. One on the wheelchair and the other standing beside the man on the wheelchair. As soon as she saw them, she hurried and finally caught up with them. When she caught up with them, none of them even nced at her. She looked at the cars passing by in embarrassment and bit her lower lip. After a moment of silence, E finally gathered the courage to speak out first to her husband before his brother Henry who is equally her husband¡¯s witness.


    ¡°Hi, thank you for marrying me. I¡­¡±


    ¡°You are thanking me for marrying a filthy and shameless prostitute like you. Am I right?¡±


    Elion vomited these words with no remorse or sympathy to the other party.


    E, who was smiling shyly, suddenly froze before she bit her lower lip and opened her mouth as though she had something to say but ended up saying nothing to Elion. She looked at Henry and greeted him out of courtesy.


    ¡°Good morning sir.¡±


    Henry didn¡¯t reply but bent a little towards Elion and asked him where they were heading to.

    After waiting for Elion¡¯s response, it didn¡¯te so Henry quietly held his wheelchair from the back and pushed him away from the council while E followed them as if she was lost in thoughts.


    She didn¡¯t know how long they have walked because all along, she paid no attention to where they were going because she was so lost in thoughts. As they continued their journey, Henry, who was pushing Elion, suddenly came to a halt in front of a very old and dirty building which looked as if the zinc was leaking. As soon as he stopped, E suddenly bumped into his back pushing him to stumble a bit with Elion shaking from the wheelchair.


    Elion frowned and Henry hurriedly apologised.

After staring at the house for some time, E walked to the stairs, she climbed them slowly and finally walked to the door as though she didn¡¯t want to be seen.

    Not far from the television was an old clock which was still perfectly okay.


    E left the living room and walked up to a door which looked like it was a door into the only bedroom. She observed the room and saw that there was a two ce bed size at one corner of the room. There was an old wardrobe which was locked. She stepped out of the room and entered the bathroom. It consisted of a flushing toilet, a shower which was hung on the ceiling and the basic bathroom equipment.


    After walking back into the living room, E smiled and shook her head in disappointment before speaking out what had been in her mind the minute she arrived.

 She Gave Up So Soon

    E opened the room and peeped into it. She took a bucket from the bathroom and a rag she saw on the veranda whileing in. After filling the bucket with water, she mopped the room, living room, veranda and the stairs which were covered with Spirogyra. She took time to scrub the veranda and the stairs before using the rag to mop the floor and dried all the water. The floor was so clean in such a way that one will think it has just been renovated.


    When she was done, she carefully took her time to weed all the grass around the house. She couldn¡¯t finish it because it was night already.


    After retiring back into the house, she took her bath and wore the same dress she had because that was the only one she had.


    She looked at the old clock on the wall in the living room and it was already past 9:00PM and her husband and his brother were not yet back. She waited till 2:00 AM and finally slept off on the old sofa in the living room which was even shorter than her.


    Early in the morning,  E suddenly woke up as though she had remembered that she was waiting for someone.


    As soon as she woke up, she checked the time and it was already past 8:00 AM. She yawned and held her stomach. She was very hungry and tired because she didn¡¯t sleep well. She went into the small old kitchen which had just two tes, two small pots, a small bowl, two spoons, one knife, a stove and a small tray. The kitchen was literally empty. She checked around but there were no food stuffs and while her legs were still on the floor, she crossed her arms on the kitchen table in the middle of the kitchen beforeying her head on her crossed arms. Tears rolled down her eyes. While she was still lying on the table, her stomach suddenly grumbled so loud that she almost jumped up in fear.


    She went to the sink, opened the tap and used her hands to stop some running water from falling directly into the sink. As the water became much on her palms, she brought her mouth to the water on her palms and drank as much as possible. When she felt satisfied, she locked the tap and went out of the kitchen straight to the stairs in front of the living room.


    She sat on the stairs and after basking in the sun for some time, she looked at the upleted bushy part of the house and the grass on the other part of the house seemed to have increased. She unconsciously frowned and kept her eyes fixed on the ce. After looking at the grass for a moment, she stood up and slowly walked to the ce and bent down to weed.


    After what seemed like a year, she finally was done weeding and the house looked more presentable. She smiled cheerfully and walked back into the house and took her bath.


    She was really very hungry so she justid on the sofa in aplete state of abandonment and her eyes kept wandering around. She tried to sleep but the hunger was so much that she couldn¡¯t sleep. She struggled and struggled but there was still no way for her to sleep and she finally stood up from the sofa and subconsciously went out of the house and roamed around the neighbourhood to see if she could get any job around but unfortunately, there were no jobs.

    E was rushed to the hospital by an old couple who were in theirte 40s and early 50s but since they lived in very poor living conditions, they looked older than their ages.     Mrs. Sam nodded in satisfaction, turned to the Thermos and opened it. She took out enough soup and put it into a bowl. After drinking enough of it, E smiled as if she wanted to cry before thanking the couple in a very weak voice.

When I woke up the next day, it was already past 8:00AM and after Ipleted the work, I was very hungry and tired. Henry on his part got into the driver¡¯s seat without wasting time and sped up as soon as he got in.


    Immediately they got to the vi, Elion got out of the car and went straight to the corridor where E was resting. As soon as he got there, The Butler brought a bucket of ice water and poured it mercilessly on E. She got up as though she had her worst nightmare and as soon as she stood up and wiped her face, her eyes fell on The Butler and without noticing the presence of Elion Copper and his PA, she asked The Butler in tears.

    ¡°How do we achieve that?¡± Asked Liza.


    ¡°It¡¯s very simple, we can convince his family doctor and you will fake to be sick and you can even copse and when they get you to the hospital, the doctor should tell him you need an urgent kidney transnt and since I will be there, I will quickly suggest E as the donor and when you be conscious, you will stand on my words as well.¡±

In less than no time, he arrived at the hospital and Henry and the doctor were already waiting for them.     After carefully listening to the doctor, he went into the ward followed by Henry. As soon as Liza saw him, she brought forth her acting skills. She was wailing and crying non-stop.

    Without a word, Elion walked out of the ward followed by Henry. Seeing that he was going towards the car, he hurried and opened the car door and he got in. After closing the door, he sat on the driver¡¯s seat and sped up. In less than no time, they arrived at the vi and Elion sat on one of the sofas in the living room in a state of frustration. After sitting without a word for a long time, he finally made up his mind and asked Henry to call for E.     Without a word and like an obedient dog, she followed them to the car that was parked just by the door. Everyone got into the car and she remained standing because she didn¡¯t know whether she was supposed to be in the car with them or not and if yes, she didn¡¯t know whether she was supposed to sit on the seat next to the driver¡¯s seat or on the passenger seat beside Elion. Looking at the girl rooted on one spot, Elion became very impatient and furious. With a tone he has never used in front of E, he yelled at her with so much anger.


    ¡°Are you mad? Who do you think you are to keep me waiting? If anything happens to Liza, I will use you to make tomato paste. Get into the car you fool.¡±


    E was shocked to the core to be scolded like a child over what she knew nothing about. When she was about opening the front door, Elion shouted again.

    Hearing this, E quickly shut the door and opened the car door behind and was almost stepping in when she was greeted with another warning again.

    Henry was stunned after hearing the instruction but knowing his boss wasn¡¯t in a good mood, he quietly pressed a button and the boot opened. E went to the boot and got into it and Henry closed it again. She didn¡¯t realise how long they had gone when the car suddenly came to a stop and the boot opened. She came down from the boot and watched the boot closed again. Elion bypassed her and she hurried behind him Like a sheep being dragged to be ughtered. As soon as they went into Liza¡¯s ward, Liza and Maya were stunned to see Elioning in with E followed by Henry.


    ¡°Elion, I thought you abandoned me to die. Thank you for saving my life. In my whole life and even in my next life, I will serve and obey you¡±.


    Liza thanked him with tears in her eyes and E, who wasn¡¯t aware of what was happening, looked at the pale Liza and couldn¡¯t help but have sympathy for her.

    Lizapletely ignored her while Maya ran out for the doctor and in less than two minutes, she returned with the doctor. The doctor took E by hand to run a series of tests on her. When he was done, he returned with E to Liza¡¯s ward and met with worried faces. He smiled and spoke in assurance.

    After about 2 hours, the right kidney was sessfully removed and E was taken to Liza¡¯s ward andid on the other bed. Liza was then taken to the theatre while E was still unconscious.


    Around 7:00 AM the next morning, Elion came in followed by Henry and The Butler holding a food sk. They looked at Maya gently feeding Liza with a well nourished soup and looked at E who was lying on the bed with a pale face and cracked lips butpletely ignored her as though she didn¡¯t exist and all his attention was tilted towards Liza.


    ¡°How are you feeling now Liza? I am happy to see you eating already.¡±


    Elion asked with so much concern and didn¡¯t even turn to look at E.

    That evening, they were finally discharged and Elion supported Liza with so much care while E, who could barely walk, could only lean on the wall constantly for support. Henry followed Elion silently but kept turning and ncing at E who was really struggling to walk. When they got to the car, Henry opened the door and Elion helped Liza to get in while he closed the door and went round the car to enter through the other door. When he got in, Henry closed the door and went into the driver¡¯s seat and as soon as he sat down and closed the door, he pressed a button and the boot opened. E looked at Liza leaning towards Elion and the manner at which Elion held her as if he was scared that she could hurt her hair. Tears ran down her cheeks as she was struggling to get into the boot but didn¡¯t seed due to the pains on her abdomen. The nurse that had fed her in the morning saw her struggling to get into the boot and ran to help her. She carefully helped her into the boot and wiped E¡¯s tears before smiling back at her. She tried calling out but no one could hear her from outside. She looked at Henry and even though she had no energy left, she still greeted him leaving everyone shocked. She struggled to get out of the car but couldn¡¯t and Henry was about to carry her out of the car when his boss¡¯s cold voice came ringing into his ears.

    She went back to the coffee room and after making two cups of coffee, she ced them on a tray and took it to the conference room. When she approached the door, she gently knocked and entered. She ced Liza¡¯s coffee in front of her and went up to Elion to drop his own coffee. As soon as she got there, she gently ced the coffee cup in front of him and just then, his eyes fell on E¡¯s bandaged hand and he unconsciously looked at her pale face before bncing on his seat in a guilty manner. E bowed in respect and was about to walk out of the office when Elion¡¯s question stopped her.

    Amanda was still talking when Berri said angrily. ¡°I feel so annoyed to be insulted. Get out of my sight.¡±


    As if she didn¡¯t hear what Berri just said, she stood and took short steps towards the door but stillughing and as soon as Amanda got out and shut the door, she burst into hot tears.

    As soon as they walked in, everyoneposed themselves and greeted Elion and E politely but Elion ignored them and E was the only one who responded.


    ¡°Miss E, good morning.¡± Maya greeted gleefully and E responded while extending her hand to Maya for a handshake which made Mr/Mrs Madison to be very happy and satisfied with their daughter.


    ¡°So, we will quickly talk about the basis of our project. We won¡¯t talk aboutnd because we have a goodnd already¡­¡±


    ¡°You got thend already?¡± E was interrupted by Mrs. Madison made Elion frown unconsciously but the bold manner in which E replied her made Elion very satisfied.


    ¡°Mrs. Madison, we all were present when my PA said we were going to use your¡­¡±


    ¡°How can you stand on your PA¡¯s words? She¡¯s just your PA and has nothing to do with this project so why listen to her? She has no rights over thend in question.¡± said Mrs. Madison.


    ¡°Mrs. Madison, it seems my PA knows a lot about you that cannd your entire family in jail. So which do you prefer? Give her thend to seal her lips or hold on to thend and you, your husband and beloved daughter rot in jail?¡±


    E asked with an indifferent manner.


    ¡°My daughter has nothing to do with any of this. You are talking about something that happened  about 27 years ago and my daughter is just 23 now.¡± Mr. Madison exined with red eyes and E, who wasn¡¯t moved at all, asked him a question that almost caused him to urinate in his pants.


    ¡°Mr. Madison, I see you are actually admitting the fact that you and your wife did a lot of terrible things 27 years ago¡± said E with a serious face.


    ¡°How can you say that Miss? Everyone is prone to mistakes. It was just a mistake and not something we wished had happened.¡± Mrs. Madison tried exining but Raisa stepped in.


    ¡°Mrs. Madison, it seems you and your husband are talking about a different thing from what my boss is¡­¡± Raisa couldn¡¯t finish her words because she was interrupted by Mrs. Madison.


    ¡°Raisa or whatever you call yourself, we are talking about the same thing here.¡±


    ¡°Mrs. Madison, my boss is talking about the story around your babies but you and your husband are talking about the pregnancy you termed a mistake?¡± Said Raisa sarcastically.


    ¡°Who are you and why do you know so many things about my husband and I?¡± Asked Mrs. Madison.


    ¡°I¡¯m Raisa, E¡¯s Twin Sister.¡± replied Raisa.


    ¡°Raisa, you just spoke about a pregnancy they termed a mistake twenty seven years ago. We are both twenty seven years old, what¡­?¡±


    Hearing E¡¯s question, everyone in the room was stunned including Elion Copper and Raisa¡¯s answer shocked everyone to the core including Maya who looked at her parents as if they were her worst nightmare.


    ¡°Mydy, the pregnancy they said was a mistake, they tried everything to abort the babies but it didn¡¯t work and at the hospital, the gynaecologists refused to carry out the abortion without any of their parent¡¯s concern because they were still teenagers. So they were forced to keep the pregnancy, and after giving birth to the twin, they discarded one in a trash can and were forced to take one home and that one they took home happens to be called E.


    ¡°What?¡± E and Elion asked at the same time while others were stunned by the revtion.
