Elion couldn’t control the feelings in his heart for he had never felt this way before. He couldn’t exin how he felt but the only thing he knew is he had suddenly developed a strong sense of possessiveness and entitlement towards E and a strong desire to protect her even if it meant losing his own life. He stared at E with so much passion and E became ufortable and Liza couldn’t stand it at all. She opened her mouth to talk but old Master Elion who had been quiet throughout suddenlyughed out gleefully and walked towards E.


    “I’ve always known that you are my sweet little innocent angel in the hands of vampires. Your husband should bring you to my mansion tomorrow. I have something to pass on to you.”


    “Don’t you think you are overreacting? Aren’t you supposed to pass on whatever you want to pass on to your own son or grandson rather than a…” Elion was still trying to rebuke his father when E interrupted him.


    “Old Master Elion, actually my husband has been away for over two years now so we won’t be able toe tomorrow.”


    While pointing at Elion behind him with his walking stick and talking to E in front of him, Old Master Elion chipped in mockingly.


    “Is that what this bastard told you? Don’t listen to him. He knows where your husband is and he is in this town. In fact he knows everything about your husband and if you asked him and he isn’t willing to tell you,e straight to me this evening and I will…”


    As if he was scared of something, Elion suddenly walked up and whispered something into E’s ears but to the hearing of everyone in the room.


    “Meet me in my office in the next sixty seconds.”


    As soon as Elion walked out, Liza stood and tried to catch up with him but before she bypassed E, she looked at her with so much hate and envy before running towards Elion.


    Old Master Elion took E by hand to the amazement of everyone and went to Elion’s office. Elion was so restless when he got into his office and with his back against the door, he kept wiping his face and walking to and fro. The office door soon opened and he immediately called E’s name as he turned to exin things but as soon as he turned, his eyes met with Liza’s teary eyes and he became very angry and disappointed at the same time.


    “Elion, are there things you have been keeping from me?” Liza asked seductively.


    “Do I need to report to you what I do or not?”


    Elion was fuming with anger and didn’t even realise that Old Master Elion and E had just stepped into the office. As soon as


    Liza saw them, she intentionally hugged Elion


    while acting like a child that has been wronged.


    “Elion, you used to tell me everything. What has changed? If I’ve done something wrong, please let me know so I can apologise.”


    “Liza, please stop all this. We are all mature now so a lot has changed.” Elion tried exining but his father hit his head with his walking stick which caused him to push Liza away unconsciously and turned only to see his father holding E very tight. His lustful eyes scanned E from head to toe as his breathing increased and he called out E’s name in a very romantic way and unconsciously started exining why Liza was hugging him.


    “E, we were just talking because a lot has changed and…”


    “Elion, what you should be doing now is telling her about her husband’s whereabouts and not trying to exin why you will let another woman hug you as though you two are in a rtionship. Liza, if you two continue like this, you will have serious issues with your spouses tomorrow. The two of you need to set a lot of boundaries.”  Old Master Elion warned.


    When they were about to go home, Elion Copper, Henry, Liza and E walked out of the building and E, as usual, didn’t follow them to the car because she is used to trekking home. As soon as E took a few steps, Elion looked at Henry with pleading eyes and Henry immediately understood what his boss wanted and he immediately called out to E.


    “E, you can join us.” Hearing this, Elion breathed a sigh of relief and waited expectantly for E to join them. Liza was fuming with anger and clenched her fist as if she was going to p E if she epted the offer. E turned and bowed towards them respectfully before declining.


    “With all due respect Sir Henry, I’m used to trekking home and by the way, I still have to check out for avable jobs on my way.”


    Hearing this, Elion felt like his heart was being torn apart and he immediately tried to plead.


    “E, just join us. It’s an order from your boss, remember you will have to make me a cup of coffee when I get home meaning I can’t get home before you.”Original from N?velDrama.Org.


    Hearing this, E walked towards the car and stood by the boot which worsened the pain in Elion’s heart. Henry rushed over and opened the left back door for E but Liza, sensing what Henry was insinuating ran over and got into the back seat and Elion opened the front door and beckoned on E to sit next to the driver’s seat. Feeling shy for the kind gesture, E bowed in respect before she got into the car. When they got back, as soon as E got out of the car, she thanked them and walked towards the back corridor. Elion wanted to stop her but Liza suddenly came over and dragged him into the house.


    In the evening, Elion was discussing secretly with The Butler in the presence of Henry in his study when E brought his coffee. As soon as she was about to knock on the door, she heard the discussions inside the study and was stunned. Shepletely forgot that she was holding a cup of hot coffee and she didn’t realise when the cup felt down breaking into pieces which caused the people inside the study to rush to the door and immediately Henry opened the door, the shocked E looked at Elion in disbelief making everyone especially Elion ufortable because he knew E overheard their discussions.
