Chapter 15 I鈥檓 Going To Confess My Love To My Prince Charming

Chapter 15 I’m Going To Confess My Love To My Prince Charming

Even though Linda spected about the reason for Leona’s disappearance for a while, there was no

way for her to know the truth for sure.

With a deep sigh of resignation, she shifted her body to lie down again when suddenly, her phone rang.

She picked up the phone and saw the name of the caller—

Michelle Meng, her best friend, as well as her ssmate.

Her nerves rxed in an instant. She answered the call in a light voice, as if nothing was out of the

    ordinary. “Michelle, what’s up?”

“You haven’te to ss for a long time. Where have you been?”

“I… I’m at home,” Linda said tentatively, biting her lip.

“Really? I called your parents, and they said you weren’t at home.”

By “parents,” Michelle was referring to Linda’s foster parents.

After thinking about it for a moment, Linda replied, “Let’s talk about it when we meet.”

    “What about today?”

“I’m not feeling well today. How about tomorrow?”

Michelle agreed chirpily. “Okay, sure. I’ll tell you a secret when we meet tomorrow.”

“What is it?” Linda’s eyes lit up in curiosity.

“You’ll have to wait till tomorrow to find out,” Michelle replied mysteriously before hanging up.

After that, Linda went back to sleep and didn’t wake up until five o’clock in the evening.

Cecil didn’t return to the bedroom or disturb her after that.

When she rose from her slumber, she slowly washed up and went downstairs for dinner.

As soon as she entered the dining room, she noticed Cecil seated alone with two sets of tableware on

the table, but she didn’t dare to walk over and sit down on her own.

Cecil nced at the woman standing not far behind him from the corner of his eye and said, “Sit down

    and have dinner.”

    “Okay, thank you,”

Linda replied meekly as she walked over and sat down.

It was a quiet dinner, punctuated by nothing but sounds of soft chewing. After dinner, Cecil put down

his chopsticks and rose to leave. “Mr. Bo,” Linda called out suddenly.

The man stopped, but did not turn around.

“I… I have an appointment with my friend tomorrow. Can I go out to meet her?” she asked nervously.

    “Whatever.”

After this simple response, Cecil walked out of the dining room.

A servant standing next to Linda said, “Mr. Bo told us to arrange a bedroom next to the master

bedroom. You can sleep there at night.”

For the first time, a servant wasn’t addressing her as “fake,” so Linda looked at her with a grateful

    smile. “Thank you.”

To her surprise, the servant let out a snort of derision and left.

Linda didn’t know how to respond.

Of course, it was only natural that none of the servants in the vi would be kind to her after hearing

    Cecil’s words that day.

The next day, Cecil left the house early in the morning for work.

‘Maybe he doesn’t want to see me anymore, ‘ Linda thought dejectedly.

However, she didn’t want to waste her time worrying about it. In the midst of all this chaos, it was rare

for her to have a peaceful day. Besides, she didn’t know what sort of inhumane torture she would suffer

    after tomorrow.

The wounds on her body did not hurt as much as before. Most of them had already faded away into

    scars.

Last night, Michelle had sent her a message asking her toe to a fancy restaurant.

Michelle was from an ordinary middle-ss family, just like Linda’s foster parents, so neither of them

had ever been to such a high-ss restaurant before.

Therefore, Linda couldn’t help but be suspicious of what Michelle was nning to do.

It was not until she met Michelle outside the restaurant that she realized that the two of them hadn’t

come to have a meal at all.

Michelle happily grabbed Linda’s hand and said, “Linda, I’m so nervous. I’m going to confess my love

    to my Prince Charming today.”

Linda’s eyes widened in surprise. “Who is your Prince Charming?”

    “Well, look…”

Michelle shyly pointed to the door of the restaurant.

As soon as Linda turned her head, she saw Cecil.

Next to him was a handsome man, with gentle and charming features. But… which of these two men

was Michelle going to confess her love to?
