Chapter 39 Only Hope
Kendra could not forget the dumbest move she did to make Gabrielle stay.
"Are you all right, Ms. Kendra?You look not well."
"I am feeling dizzy right now."
"Oh, you should probably go home now. I can help you to finish your work there."
"Really?You are such an angel! How can I repay you?"
"No..no...no! It is all right. You do not need to pay me for that. We are colleagues. We are team. Maybe
a grab of delicious cake tomorrow?"
"Oh, sure!No problem..Thank You again. I have to go home now. I am not really feeling well. Could you
tell our boss?"
"Sure, no problem!You go home now."
Kendra took her bag and rushingly went out of the office. She made alibis to escape from work and
went to the mall looking around unwinding. She could still remember of what had happened. She
realized how desperate she was. She could not even ept and regretted of giving her virginity to
Gabrielle. Kendra started to talk to her mind while walking around.
"That man, cannot even fight for me! I thought he was genuine. How could you be stupid like that
Kendra?"
"Kendra!!! Are you Kendra?"
Kendra stopped walking, looked back and trying to remember the face of woman who called and asked
her if she was really Kendra. The woman went closer to Kendra.
"Who are you? Do I know you?"
"It has been a long time. It is me, Eunice your college ssmate? We are not that close in college but I
know who you are."
"Oh, yes..I remember you. It is good to see you here. What a small world, isn''t it?"
"Yes, you are right. Are you alone?Are you not hungry? Let''s grab some lunch."
"Yes, I am alone! That is an awesome idea, Eunice. Let''s go and have lunch together. I suddenly feel
hungry though."
Kendra and Euniceughed at each other while walking around the mall finding a good ce to eat.
"You got to be kidding me. How could you give your virginity to a man who would be leaving soon?"
"I thought, I could stop him not to leave and choose this country for me."
"Kendra girl, men are deceiving. We women cannot easily figure out what is running on men''s mind.
How they truly feel? They are truly liar."
"What am I going to do now?I was preserving my virginity for my husband to be but I lost it because of
my dumbest move."
"Kendra, It is all right. We learn from our mistakes. You will never grow when you do not do mistakes
sometimes. It is part of your growth. Besides, there are lots of men in the world. It does not mean
loosing your virginity is the end of the world. Do not think that no men will love you truly when you are
not virgin anymore. There is still one man out there who is willing to give everything and can fight for
you."
"What about you Eunice?What is your experience?Are you married now?How is life going for you?"
"No..I am not married. I am still single and ready to mingle. Life is not that easy for me same to you.
Sometimes there are ups and down. That is life!"
Kendra and Euniceughingly so hard.
"Really?"
"Yes, really..really...!!!"
Both of them continuouslyughing so hard.
"Why dont you work outside of this country?Are you not bored of everyday life here?"
"I would love to. When opportunitiese. Why not?I love exploring the world. Honestly, I applied lots
of time just to be a flight attendant because I love to travel. Unfortunately, I was always rejected."
"Maybe that work is not truly for you. Why dont you try another job abroad instead?Forget about flight
attendant job. I would apany you to apply to my agency that I applied for."
"Oh my god! so meaning, you are working outside of the country now?"
Eunice smilingly nodded her head.
"I am working in one of luxury hotel in Dubai. Give it a shot, Kendra!It is a stepping stone towards to
your exact dream. Dubai is known for luxury shopping, tallest buildings, and a lively nightlife scene."
While Kendra was listening attentively to Eunice. She felt joy, and hope for her dream toe true. Her
target airlinepany located in Dubai. She got a wise idea.
"I am thrilled while listening to your stories. I am so excited to apply for whatever jobs would be given
for me. Where will I apply?"
"I will be apanying you to my agency maybe after tomorrow so be ready Kendra girl."
"Oh, you are on your vacation right now that is why."
"Yes, yes, yes..it is my vacation. I will be going back to Dubai after 3 weeks"
"I am so happy for you Eunice. Time is so fast. Let us make your vacation more exciting and fun.
Where will you go after this?"
"I may visit my family after our lunch then party party!!! Would you like to join me tonight''s party?"

Kendra started to be motivated again to pursue her true dream to travel in the world and live with it.
She was so determined to get her dream no matter where life leaded her. She would definitely not
giving up.
"Thank you Kendra girl for spending time with me. I truly enjoyed our lunch together."
"Oh, you dont need to say thank you. I thank you."
Kendra and Eunice wereughing out loud hardly.
"Anyways, see you again after tomorrow Kendra girl. Do not forget! There are lots of handsome guys
there. You might bump into the one that you have been waiting for."
"Definitely, I wont. I know this is the right time for me to leave this country and travel. Although, it is not
yet all the countries in the world at least I can work and travel in Dubai. See you soon Dubai!!!"
Kendra and Euniceughed again and bid a farewell to each other as they both kissed each others''
