Chapter 17 Last Moment with Sussy


    Kendra''s world tore apart because of what happened at the University. She studied and worked so hard


    to finish her college and have the award as she was determined to have it for her to be recognized by


    her parents somehow but it seemed that the world for her was so unfair.


    At the airport, " Hey, what are you doing here now?Are you not going to your Graduation Day?Sussy,


    smilingly asked standing in front of her. Kendra was just staring at theputer without even hearing


    Sussy at all."Huh?, I am tired Sussy. I am not in a good mood. Can we just talkter?Kendra sadly


    replied to Sussy and left her at the station alone.


    "Where are you going? Dont leave me here alone!"Sussy wonderedly asked while scratching her head.


    "Why everyone gone here and left me alone? Whats the problem with the people?Sussy talked to


    herself while typing on theputer at the information desk and put her headphone on.


    "Knock, knock!..I said Knock knock!. a guy was shouting at Sussy removing her headphone on her ear.


    "What the hell?"Tommy! What are you doing here?Sussy suprisingly asked. " Where is she?" Tommy


    asked. "I dont know where she is. Oh, She is here now. Kendra, I would like you to meet Tommy one of


    the passenger before but wait a minute. What are you up to here Tommy?" Sussy asked. "My ne


    justnded here from Dubai. I am going to have a vacation for a month thats why I am here now


    standing infront of youdies." Tommy looking at Kendra while answering Sussy''s question. " Oh, okay!


    I have no time for this." Kendra snobbishly replied to Tommy and she looked back to Sussy again and


    said. "Sussy I think this gonna be myst on job training here at the airport and I am gonna miss you so


    lets get back to work." Kendra hugged Sussy and suddenly whispered something on her ear. " Who is


    that guy?Let him leave for now." Kendra desperately said. "Oh, You better go Tommy, Lets talkter


    and its gonna be girls talk." Sussy pushed Tommy away from the information desk.


    "Wait wait..I wanna ask for your number. Can you give me your number before I go? I am not gonna


    leave here if you are not going to give me your number."Tommy insistedly asked Kendra. "What


    for?"Kendra replied. "I may invite you to hang out sometimes while I am here."Tommy smilingly asked.


    "You may go now because my answer is NO. I am not really in the mood talking to you. Your name


    again?" Kendra irritably replied with an agitated look to Tommy. "My name is Tommy. You look more


    beautiful when you are angry."Tommy smilingly replied Kendra. Suddenly, Sussy interrupted their


    conversation and get Tommy out of Kendra''s sights away from the information desk." Tommy, this is not


    the right moment. Kendra is not feeling okay today. You better leave ande back when the air is


    fine.Dont make a scene here. I already gave you her number before. Why do you need to ask her


    again?"Sussy asked with a look on Tommy''s face." I lost the paper with her number on it thats why I am


    asking now. Are we not meant for each other?"Tommy teasingly smiled at Sussy answering her


    question. "Urgghhh.. okay,okay! Sussy calm down. I am calming down Sussy, this is thest request on


    her number and nevere back again for this.Is it clear?" Sussy put out a pen a small piece of paper


    on her pocket and wrote Kendra''s number on a piece of paper and gave it to Tommy. Tommy left with


    his luggage and Sussy walked fastly going back to their station. " Is he gone?" Kendra asked to Sussy."


    Oh Yes, He is gone. Anyways, what truly happened to you?Are you fine now o still not?" Sussy


    wonderedly asked. Kendra told everything to Sussy about what happened at the graduation practice


    and the job offer of her dean. Kendra''s tears fell down while sharing her story to Sussy." I just could not


    help it. I worked so hard to finish my college and studied hard just to get that award. I felt so


    embarassed from my parents and rtives. I still feel not okay so here I am just working so hard on the


    day of my graduation at the airport for me to forget everything. After today, what is gonna happen to


    me?The newnguage school that I ve been working with now for months will be soon shutting down


    after I got fired from the old one then the award that I studied so hard is gone. The world for me is truly


    unfair and so mean. Everything is gone."Kendra criedly shared her story to Sussy. " Kendra, You will be


    fine. Dont worry! Dont cry here.You will see the lightter. You have dreams right? like traveling the


    world and be a flight attendant? Dreams do trulye true. Just keep pursuing it Anyways, I am gonna


    miss you. Today is yourst day. Why dont you work here with me?Did not they hire you? or maybe


    you didnt apply? Sussy smilingly asked. Kendra suddenly smiled to Sussy and said " I didnt apply.


    Thank you Sussy for listening my story. I will see you again. One day our path will cross." Both were
