Got a job
Lucia got up immediately at the strike of the clock that it was already morning.
One thing to know about someone looking for a job is punctuality .
She wished she had a phone, she would have scouted for jobs online .
She had an idea, she would just use Quinn’s phone so she had two favours to ask from Quinn.
She entered the bathroom and took a long refreshing shower to be sure she didn’t have dirt on her .
She came out looking all refreshed and determined .
When she starts making money , she is sure Lucien would respect her and not see her as some liability .
She opened the wardrobe and scanned through .
She couldn’t find anything official to wear , after all she wasn’t looking for an office job because she had no certificate .
She took out a blue jean and a white Polo and tucked it in the jean .
Looking at herself in the mirror , she nodded smiling but just one thing remaining .
She picked a brush and brushed her hair down , the room was well equipped and she was grateful the clothes were her size .
I am good to go and with that she walked off to Quinn’s room .

Lucien woke up with a loud thud on his head , his head was hurting badly , he didn’t feel like going to work today .
He closed his eyes and fell asleep again .

“Quinn I need the money please “Lucia begged again.
“Why would I give you money when you don’t want to tell me what you need it for . Are you nning on running off “Quinn asked .
“Ok fine , I n on using it to board a taxi , I really need to . go and find a job “Lucia said taking in Quinn’s expression .
” Why do you need a job? . You are not even fully healed. And I think my brother should be aware of this quest for a job ” Quinn rapped .
” Ok girl codes . You wont tell your brother that I am out looking for a job and two you should help a fellow girl in need. It’s the girl’s code ” Lucia said wondering how she knew about girl code .
” Arrgh you got me , I will help you with the money and I will keep my mouth shut and cover up for you . But wait ” she said and walked to the side of her bag and brought out a smart phone .
“Here have this , this is my other phone , my sim is inside and a number you need to reach me is in it Incase anything goes wrong” Quinn said emphasizing on the wrong.
” Are you wishing me evil ” Lucia said feigning annoyance.
” No c’mon I just said incase . All the best Lucia ” Quinn said and gave her a hug .
Lucia smiled and hugged her back .
Quinn is so nice , too bad her brother is mean .
Lucia collected the money and phone and tucked it into her pocket .
With the help of Quinn distracting Thelma , Lucia was able to get out of the house unnoticed .

Cara stylishly walked into the office looking gorgeous as ever earning stares from her collics and subordinates .
She had dressed in a beautiful blue hugging jump suit with a pair of heel to match with a glittering bag .
She was set to impress Lucien and if possible see if he can get into her pant today .
She walked past Jane who gave a loudugh.
Cara turned and checked if there was anyone there or was something wrong with her dressing .
When the both of them proved negative , she charged towards Jane .
“What’s your problem this morning again ” Cara said trying not to get angry .
” I just didn’t want you feeling dissapointed when you get inside there ” Jane said giggling.
“Huh why , is he with ady ? ” Cara asked gritting her teeth .
“No far from that , the thing is that boss called that he won’t be avable today and he is a little bit feverish ” Jane said and Cara almost ran mad .
Not again ” she muttered .
“Come on it isn’t a loss yet , you know the n I wanted to tell you yesterday is for you to know his house and this is a perfect opportunity to know it as a caring secretary” Jane said and Cara’s face broke into a smile .
“This is perfect Jane , you are a genius ” Cara said smiling widely.
” Yes I am so about my conditions , you have to sponsor my lunch for three days ” Jane said licking her lips .
” Just that ? I would order you the human hair now , this one on your head is outdated ” Cara said and walked to her office .
Jane blew out all the anger she had been holding and rubbed the nape of her neck to make her calm down .

“Sir seriously I can do any form of work in the house . I can wash your car , sweep your house ” Lucia begged .
This was the fifth house she had gone to and she had been getting the same replies . THERE ARE NO VACANCIES .
“Ok fine , I would hire you to be my housekeeper since I already have a cook , you don’t need to go to the kitchen ” the tall handsome guy said after giving her a look of pity .
” Ok thank you sir . I do appreciate ” Lucia said appreciatively.

“My name is Lucia “she responded calmly.
” Ok that’s nice , so I would be paying you 100 dors for the time being . When I see your level of hard work and consistency , the pay can increase .” He said .
” Thank you so much , so I would start today right ” Lucia asked .
” No you should resume tomorrow , youe in the morning to clean up my house and a little other chores then you are off ” Jason said smiling at the level of eagerness to work in her .

” Quinn where did you say Lucia is , she wasn’t around for breakfast , then lunch and now dinner .” Lucien asked trying not to be worried .
He didn’t want to act like he cared when Quinn said she won’t be joining them at the dinning in the morning but now , she isn’t here in the evening also .
” Uhmm she should be .. oh here shees ” Quinn said nervously.
Lucia opened the door and walked in , she had initially lost her way but thank God she calcted fast .
” Good evening sir , good evening Thelma and Quinn” she said walking in tired .
She had not eaten all day and it was seriously affecting her .
” Where the hell are you returning from ” Lucien said giving Quinn an angry stare .
Before Lucia could reply , the doorbell rang ..
Who the hell was here this evening .
