Getting a job


    Cara fumed as she walked out of the office .


    Who the hell does Jane think she is and to think that she even went ahead to tell her of her life problems was her own stupidity .


    She found out that all the staffs were slowly vacating the office premises .


    Some in their cars


    Some with their boyfriends and others with their pre arranged rides .


    She had neither of these because she had turned all guys away waiting for Lucien to notice her.


    She unzipped her purse and brought out her phone and booked a ride but thework wasn’t connecting.

    ” Damn now I have to go in all these taxi with stinking human beings and smelly low life .” She said snorting .


    She walked out of the office and decided to hail cars down rather asking for help than for her to get into a cab .


    Hopefully she might get a neat car to drive her to her house direction .


    She waved at a few cars and when she was about giving up , a blue Toyota Coro car stopped .


    ” Not my taste anyway but manageable” she said before hopping in .


    Jason was waiting to hear at least a thank you but didn’t hear any but heard her spray some perfume around her .


    “Hmm so rude ” _ he muttered slowly but decided to stir up a conversation


    “Hi I am Jason. What’s your name ” he asked and cara sized him up before answering.

    ” Thelma where is Lucia” Lucien asked on noticing she was not at the dinning

    ” I am here ” Lucia said from the stairs , she was putting on a night gown and a robe on it .


    ” Hmmm why would you wear a night gown to dinner . Can’t you just dress more appropriately and after dinner, you can change into your night robes” Lucien said trying to be calm but Lucia wasn’t having any of it again .


    ” I am tired of all these. Why would you bother saving my life if you are just going to keep on hurting me because I lost my memories . Huh why are you this wicked ” Lucia snapped and teared up and ran back upstairs .


    Lucien ruffled his hair as he walked out of the dinning and left the house..


    ” Damn ” Quinn said before running upstairs .


    She tried opening Lucia’s door but it was locked from inside .


    All she could hear were her sobs and tears .


    ” Why was her brother being a jerk , Her brother is a nice guy ” she thought .


    Lucien got into his car and hit the steering so hard.


    Why was life this unfair to him .


    How could his good bring him enough troubles .

    What if she was wanted or she was trailed by assassins .


    He had a soft tap on the car door and he raised his head to see Lucia looking at him .


    Damn what does she want again .


    He opened the door and immediately she went down on her knees .


    ” Don’t do that ” Lucien said pulling her up .


    ” I am so sorry about my outburst. I shouldn’t have reacted the way I did .. You are my saviour and you saved my life and I am so grateful ” Lucia said heads bent..


    Lucien raised her face up .


    “Let’s just forget everything that happened tonight” he said and with that he went inside .


    “Damn so unpredictable” Lucia muttered .


    “So did it work ” Quinn said behind her startling her .


    Well it was all Quinn’s idea and it worked a little.


    “Yeah it worked a little .” Lucia said walking inside .


    ” Hey wait up.  Both of you are so unpredictable ” Quinn said running after Lucia who hastened her steps .
