Chapter 7: He Is Mine Now!
As soon as he left, the smile on Emily''s face became colder. She studied Luz coldly.
If she remembered correctly, this woman was also in the restaurant that day with a little boy.
She knew instinctively that this woman had some history with Henry.
Emily smiled. "I don''t care what rtionship you had with Henry in the past, but he''s now mine. Watch
yourself when you''re working with him."
"She''s certainly different from what she shows to the public," Luz thought to herself. "Jealousy is an
ugly look on her."

"I would never touch your man, Ms. Hurst." She took two steps back and smiled. "I know you have
powerful backers."

Emily snorted arrogantly and nced at Luz with disdain.
"Emily." Henry''s indifferent voice sounded in front of them.
Emily closed her mouth tightly and red at Luz.
Then she turned around, changing her expression, and followed Henry hurriedly. She took his arm.
"Henry, was Secretary Boone really a surgeon before? What if she''s not suitable for the job?"
"Then she''s fired." His words were cold.
Luz took a deep breath and forced herself to smile.
"Yeah, I thought so too. MR won''t hire useless people even if it''s going bankrupt." Emilyughed as she
gloated. "You shouldn''t take advantage of her beauty, you know."

Henry wrapped his arm around her slender waist and said in a doting tone, "Is she as beautiful as you?

Luz sighed as she watched them leave.
If she had known that it was Henry who took over thepany, she would never have agreed to let her
boss take this investment.
The secretary asked tentatively, "Secretary Boone?"
Luz dropped her gaze and nodded at the secretary. "Sorry, let''s go to the office."
Linda''s office was a little far from the president''s office because she had to take care of other things.
She got someone to tidy up the office beside the CEO office and brought Luz there.
There was everything she needed in the office, which had great lighting and huge French windows.
The only downside was the office connected to the office on the left, with only a pane of ss and
