'' hey kate r you busy tonight ... we were thinking to hangout in a bar'' olivia said.
Olivia is my best friend in my office... I start working in NYPH (new york publication house) as a
assistance .... well getting a job was a big step for me because I know I will never get love n respect
from my father so I should start standing on my own it happen in one evening I enter my father office
He looked at me n said ''
''what do you want''
I replied
''hello daddy I bring your coffee... n... I want.. to ask something from you''
He looked n said
'' I dnt have whole day to wait speak fast''
I said nervously
'' daddy I need your permission actually....when daddy looked annoyingly I said immediately
'' I wanted to work in new York publication house''

I looked to my father in again my eyes is filled with tears n but I replied bravely
''No daddy you dnt have to do that at all for me... I have final interview tomorrow n I just need your
permission thats all. N secondly emily has a friend whose apartment is near to the office n her friend
has agreed to lent me that apartment ... so if I got the job I will immediately shift there I hope its fine

Its the longest I have talk with my father n he was so quite that I thought he will never respond n keep
looking me with different emotions in his eyes that I can''t even predict what was it

So thats the story of my job and this is my almost 2-year and I loving it.
I replied to Olivia '' Nah I cant I have to Fitch my neice from day care n meet my sister in her house
today is our sister day'' I said with a smile.
I always try to avoid going Emily house because I know alex might be there n I still cant forget his
words from the past but when emily told me she wants me to pick emma my 1-year old niece n meet
her at her home then we will go to coffee house to chat I be so excited its after a long time we
are meeting ...
when I reach emma day care I was so excited to see her I love her to death she is so beautiful she has
alex eyes n Emily''s hair n she is a bundle of joy I love her so much n when she looks me she start
giggling n my heart expands more while looking at her I hold her
I said'' hey beautiful girl today aunty is going give a ride lets go''
When I reach alex mansion he was the first to open the door , his house is also big like Evans house n
decorated beautifully , he looked annoyed that I was holding emma n I dnt know why I felt so hurt when
ever he do that ... I dnt know why he acts so strange n some time rude to me like im some bad guy
here.
He said '' helloe n give emma to me''
Emily was ready by the time I reached her n she greated me but I felt she was tense with something
When we reach the car she will drive
I asked '' Emily what''s wrong you r tense''
Emily replied ''not know katie.. we will go to the bar there will be talk''
I said '' Emily we decided to our old coffee house... bar is not a ce we should go right now because
you r upset about something n you will be drunk by the time you told me your story. I said with augh
But emily has already made up her mind n she said we will be not that drunk n promise with time we
will at our home ...I said ok
Emily told me she had a fight about alex regarding emma that he donot want emma to be in day care n
Emily should stay at home and look after the house
Emily say '' how can he ept that I should cut my social gathering n look after the house at a same
time ... Im also involved in this huge charity work for young mother n im damn busy but he is so
stubborn jerk never listen to me''
I replied ''Emily I shouldn''t probably say this but why dnt you cut a little bit of work I mean you can work
3 days in week n other free time you can manage house workload in this way alex will be happy''
Emily looked annoyed ''now you r taking his side I cant do that im damn busy n I will not stay a home n
act like a trophy wife now im independent women no man will control me''
Well by the time emily told me her story she was drunk n I never get drunk but she forced me to try so
after a 2nd ss I was super drunk ...... n emily said to me that she will drive cause she has high
tolerance then me n she can drive safely but I suggest her to take a cab or called alex but she get
angry n said she will manage.
During drive she was non stop talking about how she expect things to be n how it should not be but all
of sudden a truck came n she cannot control the car n we both screamed after that we both be
silent n dark was but I saw.
