I don''t need a soothsayer to tell me things are not fine between Nora and Tracy, I have to admit that I
didn''t expect Nora and Tracy to know each other and when I realized Nora was trying to bully Tracy
with her words I couldn''t help but defend her the way I can.
I was proud of Tracy for standing up for herself, and when she kissed me, I knew she was acting but I
lifted her, dly receiving.
"Sorry I had to use you for that." She said as she came down after Nora left.
"Nah, you can use me for that anytime," I said and she nodded.
She was moving towards the kitchen but I stopped her and led her to the sofa where we sat down.
"Tracy."
"What?."
"If you don''t mind I''d like you to tell me what happened? Where do you know Nora from? I mean she
sounded very harsh, and all."
"Well, Nora used to stay here in Phdelphia, her family moved to New York ten years ago, and as for
what happened, let''s just say I faced one of my biggest nightmares."
"Really?, I don''t know, you see, Nora was very nice when we were in New York, I don''t understand that
attitude she gave just now."
"Alex, I lived in the samemunity with Nora and I went to the same school with Nora for nine good
years, and those nine years were nightmares if you are talking about what she does whenever she
wants someone to think she is nice, the whole changing her voice, blinking like she has
blepharospasm, smiling like a fool thing, yeah you see that whole thing is acting."
"The uracy, I mean she acts exactly like that."
"As I said, I went to the same school with her." She said and I nodded
"So what did you buy?" I asked changing the topic.
"Foodstuffs."
"Oh."
"I need to make some cookies."
"Okay."
She went to the kitchen and minutester I could small cookies, I was very tempted to go to the kitchen
and ask for one but I didn''t. She came out from the kitchen when she finished making the cookies.
"Have you taken your medicine?" She asked sitting on another sofa.
"Yeah."
"Okay then, you should rest."
"I''ve been resting ma''am," I replied chuckling
"Yeah, just don''t worry about anything, I took care of work, Tony is in charge and he sent me feedback
this morning, all you''d be doing is signing some documents but it is nothing urgent, and yes Tony said
something about a branch in Florida." She said lifting her brows.
"Yeah well, I thought we would be staying in Florida right now, so there is a branch there and another

"Well, he said he received reports and feedbacks from the manager there, so he sent them to me,
when you feel like it, you can check them."
"Okay."
"One more thing, Tony said you gave him go-ahead, he approved some contracts and they are working
on them already." She said and I nodded.
"Okay then, I''d leave you to rest." She said standing up
"Can''t you just stay with me?"
"Sorry?"
"I said can''t you just stay with me?"
"Why?" She asked surprised
"Because I''m not exactly tired, and I''d love it if we do some online shopping for our kids," I said sitting
up
She was reluctant of course but then she agreed, we shopped online together getting things for the
kids and getting things we needed that were not in the house yet.
My phone rang and I checked to see that it was James.
"My man."
"James, what''s up?"
"I''ming over, I have something for you."
"Oh okay then, bring the contract and documents when you areing."
"Sure, when would my godchildren get back from school?" He asked and I checked the time.
"They''d be back in three hours or so."
"Okay then see you soon." He said then hung up
"That was James on the line, he is my very close friend and he ising over today, he has something
for me," I informed Tracy
"Oh, you didn''t have to tell me."
"You are the woman of the house, I''m supposed to tell you who ising to your house."
"Oh"
We talked about designing the house, then Tracy made me nap until it was time to pick the kids, she
refused to let me follow her to pick them so I had to stay at home.
"Daddy!" Michael and Michelle called from the door when they returned from school.
"My babies!" I replied happy they are back, I don''t think I can ever get tired of weing them back
from school.
They hugged me, updating me on what they did in school today before Tracy took them upstairs so
they could change, I called James to inform them that the kids are back.
He arrived while the kids were snacking and he spent almost an hour doting on them like he had known
the kids for years, he adored them and it was clear.
He eventually gave them the gifts he bought for them, then he turned to me and Tracy while the kids
opened their gifts.
"Do you have time for me now?" I asked
"Nope, not yet, Good afternoon once again Mrs. Johnson."
"Oh, please call me Tracy, Mr..."
"James, call me James."
"Oh okay."
"I must say you look very beautiful, pictures don''t do your beauty and smile justice." He said making me
lift my brow
"Hello, you know I''m here right?" I asked
"And how is that supposed to stop me fromplimenting a beautifuldy?" He retorted.
"Thank you, James, what can I offer you?"
"Water would do just fine." He replied and Tracy went to get him water.
"Don''t try to flirt with my wife, I''d kill you," I said as soon as Tracy left
"Rx, you are no match for me right now because you are hurt."
"You''d be shocked by what I can do to you, don''t mess around James." Tracy returned with water for
James.
"I''d leave you to talk, the kids need to do their homework." She said then left.
"So what did you say you have for me?"
"A letter was sent to my home from New York, but it is a letter for you," James said handing me the
letter.
I opened it and it was a letter from my mom, informing me that my dad ising to Phdelphia for
me.
