Chapter Thirty
Tracy
I dropped the kids off at school then I went to get more foodstuffs, it took a while but then I got
everything I was looking for.
I dropped by Cole''s house to update Tiana and ask if she is avable to help me move the remaining
things in our former house.
"Hey, momma." I greeted them when she opened the door.
"Tracy, how are you doing?"
"I''m good, how are you?" I asked entering.
"I''m good, how is Alex doing now?" She asked as we took our sit.
"He''s fine, he was discharged and we went home yesterday."
"Home?" She asked raising her brow.
"Yeah, home."
"You and the kids moved in?"
"Yeah."
"Yay!, Wait, how did your parents take it?" She asked
"Surprisingly well, they said they''d support me."

"We would all support you." She said and I smiled
"Oh I want to ask if you would be avable, I need to pack what''s left in that house.
"Oh sure, I''m avable tomorrow once the kids go to school.
"Okay, thank you, Tiana."
"You are wee, so how is it going between you and your husband?" She asked and I blushed
"Fine."
"Look at you blushing."
"Stop!" I said and she giggled.
"So, are you sleeping in the same room?"
"I''m serious stop, we don''t sleep in the same room, we are taking it one step at a time," I said and she
lifted her brow.
"What?"
"One step at a time?, why do I have the feeling that you''d be announcing your third child soon?."
"Rose, stop!" I said blushing hard
"Huh?, Look at that you called me Rose and you are blushing." She said while I blushed helped
helplessly.
I left Cole''s ce minutester then I drove home, when I got home I carried the foodstuff I bought and
I went inside, I was very shocked to see a familiar-lookingdy sitting on the sofa in the sitting room,
Alex was sitting on another sofa.
It took a few seconds but it finally clicked, it was thedy from the magazine, the one Alex announced
his engagement with, fear gripped me.
"Oh, you are home," Alex said standing up, he collected the foodstuff from me and he took them to the
kitchen while I and thedy stared at ourselves.
I felt like I''ve seen her somewhere apart from seeing her in the magazine, she looked very familiar.
Alex came back into the sitting room, he cleared his throat making me stop staring at thedy.
"Um... This is my...."
"Your maid?" Thedy asked cutting Alex short.
"No Nora, This is my wife, Tracy Johnson." He said and my jaw dropped open
"Nora Davies?" I asked unable to control myself
"Tracy Jones." She said and I confirmed it, she is Nora, the person that made my life hell before she
and her family moved to New York ten years ago
"Why are you here?" I asked surprised
"Well, I came here for the man I''m engaged to." She said like Alex''s introduction is not valid.
"Nora please, we both understood the condition before we announced that engagement, we both
understood it was fake."
"It was fake Alex, but I fell in love with you." She saiding close, I stiffened beside Alex, He must
have noticed because he stopped her.
"Please stay where you are Nora." He said and she stopped.
"Why?"
"Excuse me, I told you I''m married."
"To who, to her?" She asked looking at me like I was worth nothing, I felt very inferior, my past shed
right in front of me, I had a very bad headache instantly.
"My wife''s name is Tracy and I''d advise you to mind what you say or you''d have to ept whatever
she does to you," Alex said and Noraughed
"You are kidding right?, What is she going to do? Tracy wouldn''t want to do that, would you?" She
asked and I looked directly into her eyes, I don''t know what happened, but that very moment I wanted
to stand up to her, she bullied me and made me feel inferior for years and I wanted her to know she
can''t keep bullying me like that.
"How are you doing Nora, I can see you''ve not stopped wanting what belongs to others."
"What?" She asked shocked.
"What''s what?, Come on, we both know about the one-night stand that happened between you and
your best friend''s boyfriend, tell me, did she find out about it?." I asked and she started blinking,
obviously trying to get me to stop.
"Oh, I guess she didn''t, you see I knew you looked familiar when I entered but then I didn''t know you
were the one, how many stic surgeries did you do? I mean, your stic surgeon gave you a full face
transformation, I hope you paid him well." I said and she cleared her throat.
"Well you see, my husband here is a very nice person, but I am not, I am not nice enough to share my
husband, and you see my children, I don''t think they''d like to share their father either, so I''d advise that
you find someone else to love."
"Your children?" She asked in surprise.
"Oh, I guess you''ve not heard, I''m a father of two," Alex said before I could reply.
"Are you sure they are your kids?, I mean you were away for a long time," Nora said smirking, she was
trying to get back at me.
"You should see them, they stole my face," Alex said grinning
"Ah, and apart from betraying their mother just to look like their father, I''d remind you that I don''t jump
from one man to another like you do my darling Nora."
"Alex, how do you cope with such a rude wife?."
"I told you already, you have to bear it," Alex said then he ced a light kiss on my lips
"Is that what you have to say to your guest?" She asked annoyed
"Our guest? Not for too long sugar, we are about to get busy so you can leave when you are ready." I
said then I kissed my husband, he lifted me, kissing me softly. We kept kissing till I hear the front door
open then close, I was satisfied I got back at Nora, also proud of myself for standing up for myself.
