She was shocked and taken aback at first, she didn’t know what to do and only opened her eyes widely, watching Shane as he sucked on her lips deeply.

    ” It’s time for us to leave. The driver’s waiting ” He announced and Shane nodded.


    ” Um.. I’ll leave then ” La said awkwardly and turned to walk away. ” No, we will drop you on the way ” Shane stopped her. She bit her lips slowly before turning to him and she nodded slowly.


    *** The Girl’s Apartment ***


    ” Thanks ” La muttered to Shane as he walked her to the door. ” I should thank you instead ” He said with a flirty smile and La raised her brows nonchntly.


    ” Huh? ” She asked confusedly. Shane moved closer to her and she didn’t move away knowing it would be fruitless as he was gonna keep moving in till she gives in.


    ” .. for the kiss ” He muttered and her face flushed in embarrassment. She looked away shyly. Shane chuckled and then pat her hair. ” Till tomorrow then, darling ” He said with a wink and walked back to his car where his driver was waiting together with us.


    La watched as his car drove off and she bit her lips. She walked back in and almost immediately was startled by Mirah and she flinched, and fell to the floor at once. Mirah burst out intoughter and La sighed and held her chest tightly.


    ” Come on, that ain’t funny ” She scolded why Mirah continued with theughter.


    ” Gosh ” La sighed as she stood on her feet. Mira stoppedughing and her lips turned into a smirk and La raised her brows.

    Mirahughed. ” So it’s true huh? ” She asked and La nodded. ” Wow, thought you were against doing those things. No it’s not possible, it’s wrong, I can’t fall for him, he’s married ” Mirah mimicked La in between aughter.


    La rolled her eyes and then hissed before making her way to their room. Mirah got serious and ran after her.


    ” So how was it? Was it mild and soft? ” She asked after her and La had to let out a scoff. ” It was so sudden, I was shocked, I didn’t reciprocate ” She replied and Mirah nodded thoughtfully.


    ” So tell me, do you think you’re ready to ept your feelings for him now? ” Mirah asked and La shook her head.


    ” No, I only allowed him so as to get him to forgive me. Nothing of such would ever happen between us again ” She said and Mira let out a scoff.


    ” That’s if he’s not gonna keep persisting, not when he knows now that you feel the same way he feels ” Mirah said and La sighed and then bit her lips.


    ” I shouldn’t have said them then ” She muttered and Mirah chuckled. ” But it’s fine, you two look really good anyways ” She teased and La rolled her eyes. ” Look good my foot! ” She snapped and Mirah chuckled again and watched as La walked away into the bathroom.


    ** Shane’s Apartment **


    ” Wow, you really did it! ” Alec gasped unbelievably and Shane nodded with a smile. ” Gosh, I’m really finding it so difficult to believe this ” He said, wowed and Shane chuckled.


    ” Yeah, I still can’t believe I did that. Her words just gave me.. like a boost and I was feeling so emotional when she confessed her feelings, I didn’t know how I was feeling at that moment and I couldn’t contain my happiness ” Shane said sweetly and Alec chuckled happily.


    ” I really can’t wait for you two to start dating ” Alec said and he nodded. ” Me too ” Shane muttered. His phone let out a ring and he picked it up.


    Shane let out a scoff. ” Who’s it? ” Alec asked, noticing the smirk on Shane’s lips. ” It’s Bryan ” He muttered and Alec smiled.


    ” Pick the call dude ” He urged and Shane clicked on the green button.


    ” What’s up dude ” Bryan’s voice came out and Shane scoff. ” Are you here to bluff again? Or threaten me ’cause I had ept the contract from Mr Lancaster ” Shane teased knowingly and he could feel Bryan rolling his eyes.


    ” I would love to do that too but no, I’ming to yourpany tomorrow for another purpose ” He said and Shane and Alec raised their brows tho he couldn’t see them. ” Why? ”


    ” We need to discuss some things ” He said seriously and without waiting for a reply, hanged up.


    ” What’s with him? ” Alec asked with a chuckle. ” Who knows? ” Shane replied.


    ** Kent’s Enterprise **


    La was about standing from her desk when Tina stopped her. ” Sire is busy with someone in his office. You should go see himter ” Tina said and she smiled lightly.


    ” Thanks ” La muttered and Tina nodded. La sat down on her seat but she still badly wants to see Shane. She only wants to see his face and then that’s all.


    ” Here. Take these to Shane ” She heard us’s voice and she raised her head abruptly. He was talking to Tina. La stood up abruptly and rushed to Tina desk. She snatched the files on the table without saying a word and she rushed out.

    ” Who’s there? us? ” Shane’s huff voice came out to her.  ” It’s La ” She rang her tiny voice in their ears. ” Come in ” Shane muttered and she almost didn’t hear him.


    She pushed the door opened and stepped in, another scent of perfume hit her and she knew immediately, someone else was in there and she did her best to lower her head.


    ” us asked me to give this to you Sire ” She said to Shane still not raising her head and she dropped the files on his table.


    She made to leave but HIS voice stopped her. Shane noticed Bryan wouldn’t stop looking at La and he wondered why. ” Does he know her? ” He asked himself until Bryan voiced it out.


    ” La ” He called in that usual thick voice of his and La couldn’t help but feel like she knew whom that voice belonged to.


    ” Bryan? ” She asked herself before finally raising her head and her eyes widened when their eyes met. It was the same for Bryan while Shane only watched them confusedly.


    ” Wow ” Bryan burst into a smile. He was more than shocked to see her here. Years of looking for her. He finally found her here. ” Hi ” La greeted with a big smile on her face and Shane couldn’t help but feel a tinge of jealously. He watched as they looked at themselves in a heartwarming way and he suddenly felt useless at that moment.


    They didn’t even care he was with them. La seemed to stare at Bryan in the same loving way he ( Bryan ) stared at her. Jealousy overwhelmed him. Does she like him? He hoped not, that would be the most heartbreaking message ever.


    ” How have you been? ” Bryan asked, still with that big smile on his lips. ” I have been fine, you? ” La asked and he chuckled. ” I have been fine too, but I had little troubles. I have been looking for you for years ” He said, looking at her in the most passionate way ever that La couldn’t help but blush and Shane almost choked on his spot.
