Chapter 55 You Must Go with Me
Lillian’s eyes were full of wonder, “Go with you? Where are we heading?” She remembered they had
gone to the Palmer family’s house a few days ago and today was not the day.
Sebastian frowned and seemed to be unsatisfied when learning she had forgotten what he said to her,
“I have told you to apany me to thepany’s anniversary. It is tonight.”
“Tonight?” Lillian was surprised and a bit angry, “Why didn’t you tell me earlier?” She had an
appointment with Archibald tonight!
Sebastian didn’t care about this and said, “I have already informed you to be prepared and I will pick
you up directly. Are you not avable tonight?” He squinted his eyes to question her.
“No.” Lillian lowered her eyes. She couldn’t tell him that she had an appointment with Archibald tonight,
otherwise, he would definitely find her trouble. It seemed that she could only find another time to meet
him.
“It’s not the truth. My mother is going to meet uncle…”
“Zoe!” Lillian suddenly interrupted Zoe’s words. This child really scared her by suddenly speaking. She
didn’t want to find herself trouble.
Zoe pouted angrily when hearing mommy was yelling at her. It was true that she heard mom was going
to meet uncle Archibald tonight. Why would she leave with uncle poker face?
Sebastian noticed something was wrong. He red at Lillian and said coldly, “Lillian, I don’t care
whether you are avable tonight. You have to apany me to the anniversary!”
Lillian nced at him and couldn’t figure out why he insisted on bringing her to the anniversary.
“What about Joanna? Is she okay if Ie?” She didn’t want to be pped by Joanna on the red
carpet and be scolded that it was her who took Sebastian away from her.
“You shouldn’t care about this. I will wait you outside Hurry up.” Sebastian left after saying this. He got
used tomand her.
Lillian sat beside Zoe, who was pouting unhappily, and exined after Sebastian left, “Zoe, it’s
mommy’s fault. I shouldn’t yell at you. But you can’t say words randomly. Stop being mad at mommy,
okay?”
Zoe was grieved, “I am not mad at mommy, but…but mommy already agreed to meet uncle Archibald.
Why did uncle poker face bring you away? He is grown-up and doesn’t realize that he has to line up
and wait.” Children’s world is simple. Zoe thought Sebastian had to wait because he was the second to
come.
Lillian wanted tough when hearing Zoe was calling Sebastian uncle poker face. This nickname suited
him perfectly. She knew Zoe wasining for Archibald, “Zoe, mommy will take care of this thing
and will meet uncle Archibald another time. Are you being too good to uncle Archibald? Even better
that me.” Lillian’s words were full of jealousy.
Zoe answered directly, “Because he treats me nicely and I will do the same thing to him. But mommy is
still my favourite.”
Lillian asked the nurse to take after Zoe and found Sebastian was waiting for him in front of the
hospital.
She had to make up to walk the red carpet. Sebastian brought her to the top design centre in Millpond.
Designers in this centre had made up for many popr stars and normal people couldn’te here.
Sebastian was a noble guest that VIP members by holding the diamond card.
“Good morning, Mr. Palmer.” Someone came to wee him. Seeing Lillian, he showed a surprized
look and asked, “Why didn’t Miss Joannae?”
Sebastian didn’t respond but looked at him coldly. The woman immediately realized he shouldn’t be
curious about others’ privacy and continued saying, “Well, pleasee in.”
Almost everyone here knew Lillian when hearing the news that she was the host who had rtionship
with Archibald and also a lover for Sebastian.
It seemed that the second news was true that she was really Sebastian’s lover.
Even this was the top design centre and people here were fancy and elegant. The spread of mass
media had no boundary.
Hence, everyone turned to look at Lillian curiously and Lillian could learn from their behaviour that
Sebastian usually took Joanna here. It was a good topic for them to discuss because he was taking her
instead.
Sebastian’s designated designer asked without noticing, “Miss Joanna, which type of clothes you want
to dress today.” She realized his mistake after saying this, “Sorry, it’s Miss Spencer, Miss Spencer. I am
so sorry.”
Lillian bit her lip and looked at him coldly. She didn’t know whether these people had a weak memory of
were they being mean to her. However, she knew a man’s secret love was always the one to be
scolded.
She could learn despise and distain from those people, If Sebastian was not present, someone would
come up to scold her for being a secret lover. More aggressive people would even call her bitch.
Those filthy words were not her exaggerate imagination, instead, they were words she read online and
were from crank calls or messages.
She suddenly felt Eleanor’s scold really helped her in treating those uses calmly.
She nced at the gowns presented in front of her and found they were all mature and sexy, which
suited Joanna well, who owned a model’s figure.
She tilted her head and was wondering which one to choose.
At this time, Sebastian had already changed a suit. He was the man who left people with a sedate and
serious impression.
Seeing Lillian hadn’t worn her makeup and picked a suitable gown, he walked beside her and asked,
“Do you need some help?” His voice was low and gentle.
Sebastian’s behaviour really surprised the designer because he had never seen Sebastian chose gown
for Joanna. He was only forced to when Joanna asked him to. However, now he was asking to choose
gown for Miss Spencer?
The designer couldn’t help looking Lillian up and down and wondered what charm she owned to make
Mr. Palmer fond of her so much.
Lillian smiled and shook her head, “Never mind, but…” She hesitated and seemed to be embarrassed.
Then she continued saying when Sebastian was looking at her, “Can I change another designer?” She
was asking for his advice and didn’t show a dominate manner.
The designer was surprised and Sebastian frowned doubtfully.
