Chapter 46- goodbyes?


    JULIANA''S POV


    "Can we talk?" I asked Tyberias as he got home from work.


    "Sure" he smiled and we sat down on our bed


    "I''ve made my decision, Tyberias and I... I can''t keep seeing you after you get married, Tyberias" I said


    softly.


    "W-What do you mean?"


    "You''re going to be married tomorrow and I have to respect that"


    "But I don''t love her, I love you" he said and pulled me closer to him. I noticed his eyes began to water.


    "I know, maybe when this whole thing blows over we can be together again. But I''m not going to be


    with a married man." I said and my eyes also began watering.

    He didn''t say anything and just pulled me into his chest. I could hear him sniffing from above me, but he

    "I know... but I have to put myself first, Tyberias. So, I''m leaving. Tomorrow, I''m taking myself and

    He desperately whispered and squeezed me tighter. Hearing him say this broke my heart even more.


    I tried to speak but I couldn''t, the knot on my throat was bigger than ever before. The only things that


    wereing out my mouth were soft whimpers.


    He gently brought down his lips of mine. It wasn''t a fast, rough kiss like what we were used to. This kiss


    was slow, passionate, full of raw emotion. It was a kiss that poured all of our feelings into each other.

    I could taste his salty tears as I flicked my tongue over his lips.

    We slowly took each other''s clothes off until we werepletely naked under each other''s gazes. He


    gentlyid me down. I wasn''t so used to him being so gentle with me but I loved it nheless.


    I wrapped my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck. I wanted to be as close to him as


    possible.


    "I love you" I whispered in his ear as he wrapped his arms around my body and slowly slipped his

    slipped it onto me. He then retrieved a pair of my ck leggings. He crouched down so I could slip my


    feet in and I held onto his shoulders for support. He then tugged them up my legs.


    "We''re matching?" I said as I noticed he was wearing the exact same hoodie with ck sweatpants


    and he smiled.


    "Let''s go" he said


    "Where are we going" I said as he dragged me out the front door.

    The drive was about 10 minutes long and the whole time Tyberias kept his hand on my thigh, as if he


    didn''t want to let go of me.


    He jumped out of the car and came to open my door for me. I smiled sadly; this was probably thest


    time he would do this for me.

    I looked around and saw that we were on top of a hill with a view of the empty field below us.


    "Why are we-" I began but quickly stopped as I looked at what was below us.


    There were about a hundred people in the field. I recognised most of them as Tyberias'' men. Some of


    them even bought along their families, as I noticed them with their wives and children. I gasped as I


    saw them all holding glowingnterns and then simultaneously, they all released them and the sky lit


    up.

    "Thank you, Harry" Tyberias said as he took both thenterns and the man ran back down to his family.


    I smiled as I noticed Tyberias said thank you this time.


    "Make a wish, baby" he said as he handed me antern.


    I closed my eyes and thought.


    I wish you could be mine forever, Tyberias I thought and released the glowingntern in my hands.


    I opened my eyes to see Tyberias'' already in the air.


    "What did you wish for?" I asked


    "I can''t say, otherwise it won''te true. And I really want it toe true" He whispered and ced


    his lips on mine.


    "I love you" He said

    "You will always have my heart, Juliana. Guard it well" he whispered, quoting the engraved words on


    my promise ring.
