    actually I was just leaving but what do you want anyways?" Grayson said in a nonchnt tone making


    me sigh.


    "It''s none of your God damn business just get out!" Angelo seemed pissed.


    "It is my business because I can see right through you..." Gray deadpanned, i wanted tough but this


    was serious and Gray was getting the wrong idea.


    "Uhm Gray, i will call you." I led him out.


    "See right through me? Yeah right." Angelo replied.


    "I''m watching you and don''t think you will fuck my girlfriend anytime you feel like your fianc??e isn''t


    good enough." Gray was dead serious and I felt awkward.


    "Gray that''s enough, you should go." He pulled me into a hug andid a gentle kiss on my cheek


    before heading out of my office leaving me and Angelo alone with the tension.


    "Sorry about that, Gray is just a little overprotective." I muttered going towards the couch on other side


    of my huge office.


    "It''s okay." He muttered sitting next to me, a little too close for my own liking. My pencil skirt hiked up as


    soon as i sat down disying my thighs which I was trying to cover up.


    "So.." I didn''t know what to say honestly.


    "I came to discuss uhm -" He''s hand racked through his jet ck hair. "Custody of the twins."


    "I thought we had already sorted that out." I looked confused. He looked at my legs then gulped before


    looking at the walls.


    "Yeah I just thought-"


    "You and Yasmine will probably have kids after getting married and I don''t think it will be a good idea for


    you to have custody of the twins." I stated as a matter of fact, Yaya didn''t like my kids that I knew for a


    fact.


    "You make it sound as if I will forget them as soon as that happens, they are still my kids too." He


    added, he looked handsome as always, his green eyes tried making eye contact with mine but I


    instantly hesitated and looked else where.


    "I don''t want to argue with you then so I will just keep quiet." I said straightening my skirt as it kept


    going down.


    "I didn''te here to argue with you..." He gave a lopsided smile. "Raina."


    "Fine. Are we done?" I asked in a serious tone.


    "Why, eager to chase me out?" He smirked.


    "I need to get back to work Angelo." I shrugged.


    "Uhm yeah." He scratched his head in an instant his eyesnded on the bracelet I was wearing. "You


    still have it ?" He took my hand in his making me feel even more ufortable. His hands on my skin


    felt tingly.


    "No this is a different one." I mumbled and disappointment flooded his facial features.

    Panting for our breath, he copsed beside me. I felt tired and sore but it was amazing, anything I did


    with Angelo was amazing. "I never seem to get enough of you.." He muttered pulling me close enough


    so Iid on his bare chest.

    "I like you alot." I blurted out.


    "I know you do." He replied with no surprise.


    "Maybe-" i was cut off.


    "Not happening baby doll, i like what we have don''t you?" He said in a dismissive tone.

    "I bought you something for your birthday.." He reached the bedside draw and pulled out a box, my


    heart skipped a beat. I knew a part of him cared even though he acted like he didn''t.


    "Open it." He smirked. I sat up straighten closing my upper body with the white linen sheets. I eagerly


    opened the small box inside there was a diamond ne and a bracelet that sparkled so bright and it


    looked simple yet expensive.


    "You shouldn''t have, this looks expensive." I said my fingers roaming around the gift and it''s expensive


    diamond rocks. It had my name on it as well as his in silver carving..


    "You are worth it, worth every diamond." He gently caressed my neck. "I want you to have it, don''t


    worry about the cost L."


    "Thank you Angelo, i love it." He helped me put it on and honestly that was the greatest gift anyone had


    ever given me not because it must have cost a fortune but because it came from someone I was inlove


    with.


    "And I love it on you." He kissed my cheek. I almost thought he would confess his love for me but boy


    was I wrong that would never happen.

    "Yasmine asked me to be her bridesmaid, i hope you don''t mind ?" I fumbled with the edges my


    bracelet, it was the same bracelet he gave me that night but I wasn''t going to let him know that.


    "I don''t." He cleared his throat.


    "Congrats again now Uhh, i really need to go back to work." I smiled at him and his green eyes


    flickered towards mine.


    "Thanks, i will leave you to it." He frowned.


    "Angelo.." I called when he was about to reach the door.


    "I''m really happy for you and I''m d this friendship is working between us for the twins sake."


    He faked a smile and turned to close the door. Why was he being so cold suddenly towards me? I was


    used to it but the only difference now is I was off his back. Isn''t that a good thing... me getting over


    him?
