    John pursed his lips. “I see.”


    He then walked past her and went inside the house, leaving Sylvia alone and speechless. The man seemed to have made

    Odell nced into the house. He then grabbed Sylvia away from the house, seemingly trying to draw distance from John.


    Sylvia asked, “Got any updates from Glenchester?”


    “Yeah. | had five men investigate from different approaches, and they all confirmed that Madam Stockton is awake. She even


    attended a family gatheringst night. Many people saw her alive and healthy. Julie has been arrested, and her family, the


    Weisses, tried to plead on behalf of her in front of Madam Stockton, but Madam Stockton turned them down.”


    Sylvia sighed a breath of relief. “It seems like John is telling the truth.”

    Later that night, the kids went to sleep without causing too much trouble.

    Sherry must be asleep at this hour.
