"She has lost her mind," murmured the socialites.
Ever since Cathryn betrayed her and tried to kill Debra, Liza had thought she was insane.
But Liza hadn''t foreseen the craziness of such intensity. Cathryn intended to kill everyone present.
Liza shouted, "I was blind enough to make friends with someone like you."
"Shut up!" Cathryn growled. "You never saw me as a friend. In your mind, I was just yourpdog. Just because you''re the daughter of the Eaton family, my father forced me to tolerate you in everything. I had to tag along when you wanted to go shopping. You told me to jump, and I asked how high. You don''t deserve to talk to me like that."
Liza was rendered speechless.
Cathryn ignored her and turned to look at her mortal enemy, Debra.
"Debra, my ultimate prey. I''ve drained my fortune to trap you here. This is where it ends between us. You stole the man I love, so I''ll make sure he loses you forever," she said, her eyes burning with hatred.
She had been waiting for this day for too long. She could still remember watching the television broadcast of Marion and Debra walking the red carpet and exchanging rings. That was her dream wedding, but she wasn''t the bride.
From that moment on, she had made up her mind. Even if it cost her life, she would drag Debra down to hell with her. She wanted Marion to feel the excruciating pain of losing the one he loved.
Debra faced her calmly, knowing Cathryn had lost her mind. Love had upied her whole world, which was pathetic.
"Shall we begin with the game?" Cathryn wiped her tear-streaked face, smearing her lipstick to one corner of her mouth, which made her look even more sinister.
She pressed a button on the timer in her hand, and the sound of beeping filled the room. Everyone instantly recognized it as a countdown Fear spread through the crowd wildfire.
"What''s that?"
"What are you nning?"
"Let us out!"
...
Several terrified socialites huddled together, trembling.
"It''s a timer. You have three hours to
