    “Exactly! How could Ms Summers sit back and do nothing?”


    Overhearing their chatter, Wendy couldn’t extract any useful info. She just went back to checking


    her phone, and lo and behold, there was the scoop she needed right on her Twitter feed

    In a nutshell, Starlight International was still hiring, but this time in coboration with Wave


    Entertainment.


    What was Wave Entertainment? A big name in showbiz, run by this dude called Mr. Diaz, who


    called all the shots at Wave Entertainment.


    Mr. Diaz and Wave Entertainment were sort of low key. Lots ofpanies in the biz scrabbled for


    resources, but nobody dared to tangle with Wave Entertainment. If Wave Entertainment had their


    eye on something, they moved fast and struck hard.


    In the entertainment industry, thest guy you wanted to mess with was Seth.


    If he wasn’t happy, he didn’t give a damn who you were; big shot or not, he wouldn’t give you the


    time of day. He was aid back in Jane, but also tough as nails and as cold as ice. When he


    was in a good mood, you could negotiate with him. When he was not, you felt like even breathing


    would be a mistake.


    That was Seth for you.


    In the entire entertainment industry, he didn’t give a hoot about what other people thought.


    No matter how powerful the Alonso family was, their business was too widespread. In the


    entertainment circle, they only upied a small share, they stood no chance in a face–off with


    Wave Entertainment.


    Under Chloe’s leadership, Starlight International had a unique position in the entertainment circle,


    now out of the blue, they had announced a coboration with Wave Entertainment. Who in showbiz


    would give a damn about the Alonso family?

    Wendy clenched her phone and her face twisted in anger. She thought herpany’s artists


    wouldn’t jump ship and Chloe’s scheme would surely fail!


    No one dared to go against the Alonso family!

    “Sounds about right, she’s Damon’s fiancée now. Mr. Diaz and Damon grew up together, he’s


    helping his buddy’s fiancée out, should be no big deal, right?”


    “You don’t know Mr. Diaz well enough! He won’t listen to anyone, not even his own mother. If he


    doesn’t want to do something, no matter what it is, he won’t budge.”


    “Why would he choose to coborate with Starlight International then? Is there a better business


    opportunity? Infinity Media has so many artists, of varying quality. If they coborate with Starlight


    International, the artists they take on would also be a mixed bag, not exactly the best oue. Why


    would Mr. Diaz make such a decision?”


    Some said Mr. Diaz’s influence in the entertainment circle was significant and no one dared to cross


    him. This had a lot to do with his way of handling things.


    Like today’s incident, they think it could be a trap!


    What was Mr. Diaz really thinking? Did he see the potential growth of Starlight International and


    decided to lower his status to coborate with them?

    morning, saying they’re partnering up with us…”


    Charlie finished his sentence, feeling all kinds of uneasy inside. When the news first dropped, he


    was stunned for a good while. He was puzzled, wondering why on earth Mr.


    Diaz would agree to something that seemed to do thepany no good.

    He strode into the elevator, whipped out his phone, and started surfing the. When he saw the


    official announcement from Starlight International, he was so pissed off he couldn’t help but snort in


    disdain.
