Seeing Hera lead the way sparked spection among onlookers. They reasoned that Gerald, deeply remorseful for nearly losing a top achiever, was showing his respect in this manner. It was inconceivable to them that Hera, known for her part-time jobs to support herself, could hold such a significant position. They could not fathom her authority or the respect shemanded.
As Hera and Gerald started to leave, they encountered arge crowd of students gathered in the hallway. The noise of shouts and sobs filled the air, while murmurs and pointing fingers indicated a heated discussion. Hera noticed that some of the students who had followed her earlier were among those crowding the area. Curiosity piqued, she wondered what had transpired to cause such amotion and why the hallway waspletely blocked by the gathering.
"You can’t do this to me!!!"
A melodious yet distressed voice rang out from within the crowd, pleading, "E-everyone, please, let’s help out our fellow students, shall we?" The voice sounded oddly familiar to Hera. She exchanged a knowing nce with Gerald, who then cleared his throat loudly. The noise drew the students’ attention, and they finally noticed Hera and Gerald standing there. It dawned on them that Hera had emerged from the office, apanied by Gerald.
The crowd parted to let Hera and Gerald through as they moved closer to the center. There, they found police officers struggling to pry two girls away from a pir. The girls were clinging tightly, with one of them even grasping onto nearby students to prevent being dragged away.
Hera also saw Alice with them, trying to stop the police from dragging the two trouble maker who started the rumors on the campus forum, although Gerald didn’t expose them in the campus forum and directly called for the police to handle the situation, theputer science students that wanted to prove Hera’s innocence has managed to hack into the university’s system to the campus forum and reveal who has been spreading the malicious rumor about Hera that threatened her schrship.
The students, driven by their sense of justice andpassion, took it upon themselves to clear Hera’s name since the Dean had not acted. They revealed to the entire student body who was behind the malicious rumors and the incitement of insults and violence against Hera. Their actions also exposed the misdeeds of those responsible.
After tracing one of the phone’s IP addresses, theputer science students hacked into it and uncovered a wealth of evidence of the culprits’ misdeeds. This evidence was then spread across the campus forum. While Hera was inside the office talking with Gerald, the students had already seen the revtions. When Alice and her friends were stopped by the police, the students flocked to watch the unfolding drama, as it was clear that Alice and her group were also headed to witness the spectacle involving Hera. Only to end up being the spectacle themselves.
Alice’s voice trembled as she spotted Hera emerging from the crowd. With tears streaming down her face, she dramatically shifted the me. "Hera, is this really what you want?" she sobbed. "These are just freshmen with dreams and bright futures ahead of them. If they end up in the hands of the police, their lives could be ruined. Is this the kind of oue you’re aiming for?"
Alice’s words struck a chord with the crowd, causing them to fall silent. She pressed on, her voiceden with emotion. "You’re fine now, Hera. You’ve received recognition from the Avery Consortium and probably even somepensation. Your schrship isn’t at risk. But what about these girls? If they end up in the police station, they’ll be left with a criminal record that could ruin their futures. Nopany would want to hire them. Is that what you want?" Her convincing rhetoric made the students pause, reflecting on the potential consequences and the impact a bad record could have on their careers, even for students from a prestigious university like theirs.
