As they reached an agreement, Hera’s smile widened, her eyes sparkling with delight. "Since we’ve settled on a n, let’s take a break and enjoy dinner together. What do you think?" Her gaze swept around the room before settling on Zhane’s emerald eyes.
"Sounds like a n," Luke interjected, interrupting the growing rapport between Hera and Zhane.
Hera’s smile was gracious as she spoke, her tone warm and inviting. "Well, then, please everyone, make yourselvesfortable and take a seat. If any of you are interested in some entertainment while we wait for the food, Amy can show you to the game room and entertainment area. You can y some games, perhaps indulge in a game of pool, or even grab a drink or two." Hera’s suggestion was met with another friendly smile before she gracefully turned on her heel and headed to the kitchen. There, she intended to lend a hand to Hannah, whether in cooking or preparing the ingredients, as they had a meal to prepare for ten people.
Zen and Xavier, acting on their habitual routine from spending the week together, subconsciously trailed Hera into the kitchen to offer their assistance.
Luke seized the opportunity without hesitation and decided to join them. He recognized that if he allowed Xavier to be alone with Hera, their bond would only strengthen further. Additionally, he saw this as his chance to grow closer to Hera. "I’lle too," he dered, swiftly striding towards Hera without waiting for his other friends to react.
With Hera now in the kitchen, she couldn’t help but feel that her spacious kitchen suddenly seemed overcrowded. Luke, Rafael, Zhane, Xavier, Zen, and even Victor and Dave followed them inside. Meanwhile, Bry headed to the game room under Amy’s guidance, leaving his father and uncle engaged in lively conversation in the living room, eagerly discussing the uing consultation.
She had hoped to lend Hannah a hand in the kitchen, using it as an excuse to steal a moment away from the male leads so she could gather her thoughts and n her next steps. However, they thwarted her attempts for solitude by trailing after her. Even Victor joined them, rendering the kitchen ufortably silent in his presence. Despite the tension, none seemed inclined to depart, leaving Hannah feeling overwhelmed by the weight of their collective presence in her sanctuary.
"Um, would any of you like to y pool or grab a drink upstairs?" Hera offered awkwardly, hoping to disperse the crowd in the kitchen.
"What are you talking about? We men should help youdies in the kitchen. Your delicate arms won’t be able to handle preparing a meal for ten people," Victor’s energetic voice resounded in the kitchen as he stood tall near the counter, attempting to fold his shirt. All the men in the kitchen were d in three-piece suits, except for Xavier and Zen, who had just returned from the shooting.
They all resembled curious children, crowding the kitchen and seemingly ready to fool around. Hera felt a surge of headache assaulting her head as she noticed Hannah growing increasingly awkward and ufortable.
Deciding to take charge, Hera suggested, "How about I mix some drinks for you gentlemen upstairs?"
