181 Who wants to y with me?

181 Who wants to y with me?

    Lilith pov

    Laughter.

Slow, deliberate, and cruel, it spilled from Drevena’s lips.

The sound made my heart pound violently against my ribs, a cold shiver crawling down my spine.

I knew thatugh. Far too well.

It wasn’t the one she used when we fought with the elders’ sons-no, that time she hadn’t intended to kill.

    This…

    This was different.

This was the sameugh from that day, the day she ughtered those rogues and as I was shoved back into my own consciousness, my control slippingpletely from my grasp, only one thought echoed in my mind.

Those rogues were going to die…a very brutal death.

    Dravena pov

    Silence fell.

A heavy, suffocating silence that swallowed everything whole. No one spoke. No one dared to move. Even the air itself felt tight, waiting… anticipating.

And in the center of it all…was me.

All eyes were fixed on me asughter bubbled up my throat before I could stop it. Low at first, then louder. Wilder. I threw my head back, my shoulders rolling as it spilled out of me, my eyes slipping shut as my body

    trembled with it.

Oh, goddess… this was going to be fun. It was going to be so much fun. It had been painfully boring, sitting in that throne room-no drama, no tension, no blood and yet… I had been good. I hadn’t taken control. I hadn’t killed.

    Why?

A quiet breath slipped past my lips, almost thoughtful. I might be evil, mightck a conscience, might enjoy the sight of blood but I didn’t kill without reason. I wasn’t reckless. I wasn’t mindless.

But if a reason and an opportunity came knocking?

My lips slowly stretched into something wilder, something unhinged as chaos broke around me.

A softugh bubbled up, low and amused. “Haha…”

Oh, I would take it. I would take it and tear everyone apart.

    I would shed blood,

I remained where I was as people ran, stumbling over themselves, screaming like preys that hadn’t realized who the true predator was.

    “It’s the Four Reapers-run! Run!”

A faint voice echoed at the back of my mind, fragile, trembling, and for a brief second I saw her, standing there in the throne room, her eyes wide, filled with fear.

    “Drevena…”

    Lilith.

My smile widened instantly, my head tilting just slightly as a soft hum left my lips.

“Why are you so scared, human~” I murmured, my voice light, teasing, “I can feel your heart pounding so fast… I can feel your nervousness…” My eyes flickered faintly, as my voice dropped into a whisper. “I can smell your fear.”

181 Who wants to y with me?

The silence stretched for another beat.

“Tell me…” I tilted my head a little more in amusement. “why are you so scared of me?”

A shaky breath slipped out of her, and I felt it, I could read her thoughts clearly. She wasn’t scared of what I would do to the rogues but rather she was scared of what I might do to the innocent people around.

She was scared that I wouldn’t stop.

Scared that I wouldn’t care who got hurt.

My amusement deepened but before I could say anything else, a voice cut through the air.

    “Be careful.”

A low male voice hissed out.

I turned, slow and unbothered, and the moment my gazended on them, the air shifted-tightening, pressing down, like something unseen was wrapping around their throats. A softugh slipped out of me at the sight.

    Ah.

This was the bastard who had tried to sneak an attack on me earlier.

He stood there, shoulders stiff, sharp eyes locked onto mine. The yful glint he’d worn before was gone, reced by something heavier, something cautious. A faint frown tugged at his lips, like he didn’t quite like what he was seeing.

Beside him, the twins stood shoulder to shoulder, their gazes hard, measuring. Watching me the way you watch something dangerous… something you’re not sure you can handle.

And behind them, the lesbian Alpha.

Still seated. Stillposed. Her sharp eyes were on me, and even though she tried to mask it, I saw it. That flicker. That shock…that slight fear at seeing something close to a god.

    She knew my identity.

Not far from them, Lilith’s little friends stood frozen, their eyes wide, bodies tense, trembling just slightly. They knew it too, that I wasn’t Lilith but the devil from that day.

Myughter didn’t stop. It blended with the screams as I stared at the people before me.

“Be careful,” the man repeated, quieter now, but firmer, his gaze never leaving mine. “Something isn’t right. The air has changed, she-”

    “Are you serious right now?”

Before he could finish, another voice interrupted, loud, grating.

“You’re telling us to be careful of that bitch, George? She’s not even stronger than any of us. Why are your scared?”

    Myughter suddenly stopped.

My head snapped toward the twin who had spoken, she stiffened instantly, her eyes widening the second they met mine. Something flickered in them-fear.

For a moment, nothing happened, then slowly….my smile spread wider and as the tension snapped.

    I moved.

One moment I stood there and the next?

    Nothing.

No sound. No warning. No trace. I simply vanished, like I had been orased from existence. A sharp inhale tore through the air and then, I was there.

    Sittingfortably on her.

Her body had mmed into the ground before her mind could catch up, forced down hard as her palms hit the floor and her limbs buckled beneath my weight.

181 Who wants to y with me?

I settled more firmly onto her back, legs swingingzily as if I had all the time in the world. My fingers rested idly against her shoulder. I leaned forward slightly, head tilting as I looked down at her.

“Are you sure about that?” I hummed softly, lips curling. “That I’m not stronger than any of you?”

    All heads snapped toward us.

    “Ivy!”

The other twin’s voice cracked, panic ripping through it.

The man didn’t move. Didn’t breathe. I felt it, the shift in him, the way his disbelief settled into his face.

“Impossible, she was…” he muttered, voice unsteady, “faster than air itself.”

    My smile deepened.

Beneath me, the girl froze for a second, then suddenly started struggling. Her body trembled as she pushed, twisted, tried to throw me off but I didn’t budge.

    Not even a little.

Even as she used all her strength.

Even as her breathing turned ragged.

Then she snapped. Her face flushed red, fury spilling out as she thrashed harder.

“You bitch! What are you doing? Get off me! I’ll kill you!”

A chuckle slipped from my lips, soft and amused.

    And then-

    Smack.

The sound cracked sharp through the chaos as my hand came down on the back of her head. Not hard enough to kill… just enough to sting.

Her head jerked forward, her body going still for a second in utter shock as her face burned even redder.

    I clicked my tongue lightly.

“Tsk… your mouth is too foul,” I murmured, shaking my head like I was genuinely disappointed. “How can you call your fellow woman a bitch like that? So rude.”

    A pause.

    My lips curved.

“You’re pretty, I’ll give you that but where’s your ss? Running your mouth like this…is truly embarrassing.” For a second, I could feel it. Everyone’s eyes twitching around me. The Alpha blinked in utter confusion as if she hadn’t expected my words but I didn’t stop.

“And also,” I continued lightly, like we were having a normal conversation, “you’re actually the weakest among the three right now. Even your sister is stronger than you.” I leaned in closer, my voice dropping just enough to brush against her ear. “Isn’t that embarrassing?”

    Her breathing hitched.

“Where’s that drive? That hunger to be better… to be stronger…” I hummed softly, pulling back just enough to meet her eyes, my smile sharpening. “If you want, I could help you with that.”

I paused slightly, my eyes glinting with mischief.

“Should I train you a little… before I kill you?”

    I meant it. Genuinely.

Everyone had to meet their best potential before they die, even if it were my enemies, they had to fight with everything they had…how else would theirst moment be interesting.

    I was kind, wasn’t I?

181 Who wants to y with me?

A disbelieving scoff echoed in the back of my mind as she heard my thoughts

    “Y-you… you are actually insane.”

    Lilith stammered out.

    My smile only widened.

Beneath me, the girl lost itpletely.

A raw, animalistic growl tore out of her, her eyes shing as they shifted, her control snapping.

“I will kill you! I will kill you, you dumb bitch! I will tear you apart, feed your bones to dogs, I will make you die slowly!” She thrashed wildly, screaming, “What are you doing, I?! Get this stupid bitch off me! Save me!”

Ah, so that was their names.

    Ivy and I.

    Cute.

The other twin snapped out of it instantly, fury shing across her face as she charged toward me.

I didn’t even look at her.

    I didn’t react.

Just leaned back slightly, rubbing a fingerzily in my ear with a dry hum.

    “Jeez… you’re too loud.”

My hand slid into the girl’s hair, fingers tangling, gripping, not harsh, not gentle either.

“Since you don’t want my help…” I murmured, almost bored, “I might as well kill you now. Don’t you think?”

As soon as I uttered those words, I pulled and almost immediately, everything stopped.

The air tightened so sharply it felt like the world itself had frozen. The charging twin halted mid-step, her body locking up, her eyes widening in horror. The man beside her stiffened.

The Alpha didn’t move. Lilith’s friends gasped, pping a hand over their faces in terror.

Even the people running in the distance seemed to falter, turning to look in my direction as I held her head in my hand, my fingers still tangled in her hair as the rest of her body copsed beneath me, lifeless. Her expression was frozen in shock, eyes wide, mouth parted like she hadn’t even processed it.

    For a second…

    No one moved.

Then a lowugh slipped out of me.

    It grew.

    Louder.

    Wilder.

I lifted the head slightly, examining it in amusement before turning toward the other twin and tossing it at her feet. It rolled, slow, staining the ground between them.

“Here,” I said lightly, smiling. “Your sister wanted you to save her, right? Go on… save her.”

Myughter broke again, spilling out uncontrobly as I threw my head back, one hand pressing against my stomach.

    Oh, how fun.

    Goddess, this was so fun.

The rush, the adrenaline, the excitement.

    I wanted more.

    I wanted all of it.

181/Who wants to y with me?

A sharp breath echoed faintly in my mind from Lilith who stared at the scene before her in disbelief.

The twin was the first to react.

A scream tore out of her, raw and broken.

    “Ivy!”

And just like that, the world snapped back into motion.

People screamed. Ran. Panic surged again.

She lunged for me, rage burning in her eyes but the man caught her before she could reach me, gripping her tightly.

“She killed her! She killed my sister!” she screamed, struggling violently.

“Don’t!” he snapped, holding her back. “You rush in like that, you die next. Stick to the n!”

I watched them, still smiling, before I reached up and wiped at the corner

of my eye like I was brushing away a tear. Then I rose slowly from the corpse beneath me, stretching slightly before facing them again.

    My smile returned.

    Soft.

    Gentle.

“Now…” I hummed, tilting my head.

    “Tell me-”

    My eyes gleamed.

“Who wants to y with me next?”
