Chapter 964: Chapter 964: How Can Someone Be So Overbearing

It felt just like in the morning, as if there had never been any unpleasantness between them.
He had just returned from outside, his coat still on, and as Scarlett Yates was swept into his embrace, she was surrounded by a cool fragrance. She shivered slightly, but quickly his embrace turned warm again.
His voice was a bit low and husky, with a hint of sensuality, like a feather lightly brushing her heart, truly captivating.
Scarlett’s heart fluttered fiercely twice more.
A warm breath scattered on her forehead, and she felt that if she just lifted her head, she would touch Matthew Saxon’s lips.
Thinking this, her face turned red.
With a flushed face, biting her lip, she said softly, "Yes, I do feel a bit hungry."
Matthew Saxon chuckled lowly, ruffled her hair with arge hand, then extended his long arms to lift her from the bed.
"Since you’re hungry, let’s go down to eat. What do you want for dinner?" he asked as he held her and walked outside.
Scarlett was momentarily stunned, and when she realized, she struggled a bit, her face still red as she eximed, "Put me down, I can walk by myself."
Matthew Saxon didn’t pay her any mind, holding her firmly without any intention of letting go, curling his lips, "You’re still sick, with no strength, let me carry you down."
What, he wanted to carry her down?
Scarlett’s face was so hot it felt like it would smoke.
Although it wasn’t the first time he’d carried her, back at the Dous Family he had carried her out like this because she couldn’t walk by herself at that time. But now she was full of energy; what reason was there for him to carry her down?
"Matthew Saxon, put me down, I can walk by myself. I’m already better."
Seeing that she still didn’t get the hint, the Second Young Master Saxon was a bit displeased.
He furrowed his brows, his enchanting peach blossom eyes red, and he said domineeringly, "I say you’re not better, so you’re not better. Do you want to make me angry?"
How could there be such a domineering person...
Scarlett muttered a couple of words in her heart. Seeing his brows furrowed tightly as if he really was going to get angry, considering their rtionship had just begun to warm again, making him angry wouldn’t be good. Her lips moved slightly, but in the end, she said nothing.
Anyway, he wasn’t going to let her down. She simply moved a bit, found a morefortable position in his embrace, and ced her hand around his neck.
Finally, once more she rested quietly and obediently in his arms. Matthew Saxon looked down at the hands looped around his neck, a satisfied smile appearing on his face.
--
He carried her just like that to the dining room.
Scarlett originally thought that once they reached the dining room, he would let her down, but Matthew Saxon had no intention whatsoever of doing so.
He simply sat down with her still in his arms, adjusted his position, and let her sit on hisp.
Soon, the dinner meticulously prepared by the chef was served.
When the maid ced the tes on the table, she sneakily lifted her head to peek. Just in time to see Matthew Saxon bringing a cup of juice to Scarlett’s lips, saying in an exceptionally gentle voice, "Here, have some juice first."
"I can do it myself." Scarlett said, her face red, looking a bit embarrassed.
"Hmm?"
Matthew Saxon said nothing more, just hummed, and Scarlett opened her mouth.
Then, Matthew Saxon fed her small sips, ughing softly as he fed her, "Drink slowly, don’t choke."
