“Enough,” Axel said icily. “Release me.”
The woman stubbornly shook her head, desperately. “Please… I’m begging you.”
Axel inhaled slowly, visibly restraining his temper.
“Three minutes,” he said tly. “You have three minutes. Speak.”
The woman hesitated, then finally loosened her grip and stepped back two steps, her legs visibly unsteady. She looked up at him, tears spilling freely now, her fear and desperationid bare.
Liam positioned himself slightly in front of Axel, his posture tense, eyes locked on the
woman.
Axel nced at his watch. “Two minutes,” he corrected coldly. “Speak now, or you don’t have any—”
“I have a son with you.” 1
The words struck like lightning in clear daylight.
For a brief moment, the world seemed to still.
Axel’s gaze hardened instantly. His expression didn’t change, but something dangerous settled behind his eyes.
Liam stiffened beside him, shock shing across his usuallyposed face.
The woman’s shoulders shook as she continued, voice breaking. “I didn’t want to do this. I didn’t want toe here. But I don’t have anyone else. I’m scared, I don’t know what to do anymore. He is in terrible condition. I need your help.”
Axel said nothing.
Not a single word.
His silence was heavier than anger.
“You don’t remember me,” she whispered, more like a statement than a question. Her lips trembled. “I know. You probably never even looked back. But I remember everything. And now… now there’s a child.”

Her hands clenched tightly at her sides, as if she was holding herself together by force alone. “He’s sick. I need help. I wouldn’t havee to you if I had any other choice.”
Axel’s eyes remained cold, distant, unreadable.
“Liam,” he said calmly.
“Yes, sir.”
“Clear the area.”
Liam nodded immediately and moved to usher away curious onlookers.
A few shadow bodyguards who always followed them from behind suddenly appeared and helped clear the area, making sure no one recorded and traced the CCTV near that ce.
Then-
Axel took one slow step forward, his tall frame casting an imposing shadow over the
woman.
The air between them felt thick, charged with tension, confusion, and something dangerously close to disbelief.
His sharp eyes scanned her face with unsettling intensity, searching for even the faintest trace of familiarity.
Nothing.
Not a single memory surfaced.
Yet the woman stood there, trembling but unwavering, iming something that should have been impossible.
She has a son with me.
Nonsense.
Absolute nonsense.
Axel’s expression remained unreadable, but inside, irritation burned like wildfire. He did not bother arguing. He did not bother questioning. Instead, he pulled out his cell phone with a movement so smooth it radiated quiet menace.
He dialed a number.

The call connected instantly.
Axel pressed the phone to his ear, his gaze never leaving the woman.
“Trace the CCTV footage in front of the Double Six Club,” he ordered coldly. “Someone
ims she has a son with me. Now.”
There was a stunned pause from the other end.
Before Collins could ask a single question, Axel had already ended the call.
The silence that followed was deafening.
Slowly, Axel lowered the phone.
Then he looked at her.
“Choose your next words carefully,” he said, his voice icy, sharp enough to cut through bone. “Because what you just imed… will change your life forever.”
The woman swallowed hard.
Fear flooded her eyes.
But she did not step back.
She did not run.
She did not look away.
“Axel, I’m telling the truth,” she whispered, her voice trembling yet stubbornly sincere. “If you don’t remember me, my name is Harper Cooper. Axel, please… we don’t have much time. This is my contact, please—” 1
She extended a name card with visibly shaking fingers.
Axel stared at it.
For half a second.
Then his gaze shifted back to her face.
He said nothing.
Did nothing.
The rejection was colder than words.
Without acknowledging the card, Axel turned, his movements calm as he climbed into

the car as if nothing extraordinary had just urred.
The door shut with a muted thud.
A clean, merciless separation.
Outside, Harper remained frozen on the pavement, her outstretched hand still suspended in the air, clutching the untouched card like fragile evidence of her crumblingposure.
“Axel Knight, don’t me me if I expose this to the media!”
Inside the vehicle, the atmosphere shifted immediately.
Liam rushed into the driver’s seat, sensing the storm brewing behind him. He did not ask questions. Experience had taught him that curiosity and Axel Knight’s temper were a fatalbination.
The engine roared to life.
The car sped away from the Double Seven Club.
Silence filled the interior.
Axel’s frown deepened as the city blurred past the window. His mind, usually a fortress of precision and control, now buzzed with irritation.
Harper Cooper.
A son.
Impossible.
With a sharp movement, Axel unlocked his phone again.
His fingers moved swiftly across the screen.
<i>“</i>Her name <i>is </i><i>Harper </i><i>Cooper</i><i>, </i><i>Did </i><i>I </i>have a <i>story </i><i>with </i><i>her</i><i>?</i><i>” </i>
He sent the text to Collins.
Then leaned back into the leather seat, his posture deceptively rxed.
Outside, the scenery streaked by in a hypnotic wash of neon and shadow. Inside, tension simmered.

Liam gripped the steering wheel a little tighter.
He could practically feel Axel thinking.
Which was never aforting experience.
The silence did notst long.
Axel’s phone vibrated.
The sudden buzz cut through the stillness like a gunshot.
Axel nced at the screen, and a text from Collins appeared.
<i>“</i><i>Boss</i><i>, </i>I already <i>asked </i>my <i>people </i><i>to </i><i>check </i><i>the </i><i>CCTV</i>,” <i>Collins </i><i>reported </i><i>quickly</i>. <i>“</i><i>I </i>will also <i>return </i>to the <i>office </i><i>now </i><i>to </i><i>conduct </i>further <i>investigation</i><i>.</i>” <i>From</i>: <i>Collins </i>
Axel’s eyes narrowed.
That was not an answer he wanted to hear.
Before Axel could respond, his phone vibrated again.
This time, it was not a text.
It was a call.
Axel epted it immediately.
“Boss,” Collins‘ hurried voice burst through the speaker, “that woman… You seriously forgot her existence?”
The words hit Axel with unexpected force. Not anger. Not irritation. But something far more unsettling. His heart tightened. Shrinking slightly inside his chest.
“You do forget about her,” Collins continued carefully. “She is a supermodel. If my memory serves me right, a few years ago, you slept with her.”
