The doctor paused before continuing, "Given the Ratcliffs'' position and Ratcliff Global''s influence, things are already a mess inside thepany. Aiden said Mr. Ratcliff hasn''t made a will yet. She hopes we can give him enough time to put his affairs in order.


    "I just remembered, there''s a special drug the military uses. It could bring him back to consciousness for a little while, maybe long enough to write a will.


    "He''s really sick, and this drug can''t save his life, but it might buy him ten or fifteen minutes, just enough to get hisst wishes down. If you have any way to get it, don''t wait.''


    Leslie''s smile vanished.


    A special drug? No way she could let the Ratcliffs get their hands on something like that. Mr. Ratcliff had seen her face. If he woke up and told everyone, she''d be finished.

    "Doctor, where can we get this medication?" Reese asked, her voice a little shaky.


    The doctor nodded, looking serious. "It''s a new emergency drug the military developed for stabilizing people after severe injuries. It can temporarily wake someone up by stimting the nervous system, but it''s strictly controlled. Only high-ranking officers can request it, and you need a clear medical reason. "If you have any way to get it, hurry. He doesn''t have much time."


    "Military supplies?" Jane repeated. Her eyes sharpened as she pulled out her phone and scrolled for a number.
