Yvonne held her ss, speaking slowly.
Cynthia replied, "Yes. Quite a coincidence."
"But I''ve never believed in coincidences. Too many of them stop being coincidences
and start being intentional. Wouldn''t you agree, Ms. Scott?"
Yvonne''s dark, luminous eyes seemed to see through everything.
Even though she felt seen through, Cynthia didn''t flinch, her smile remaining serene and gentle. “You''re smarter than I thought, Ms. Jones. But I''ll say it again: I have no ill will toward you or the Thompson family."
Yvonne nodded, seemingly unconcerned. Like Bet, she had no interest in the rivalry between Karina and Cynthia.
A little whileter, Noah returned with Nic. Being so young, she got tired after ying for only a short time.
So, Noah had to take her back to the tent to sleep.
Dominic and Letitia, however, were still full of energy. Dominic had drunk quite a bit and was tipsy. Letitia had hoped to take advantage of his drunken state, but Dominic, being a seasoned womanizer, maintained a sliver of rity even when intoxicated.
"Ms. Bishop, you''d better... stay away from me." Dominic pushed Letitia away and staggered over to Bet. “Ben, I''m... I''m sleeping with you tonight."
With a cold expression, Bet grabbed Dominic and tossed him into his tent. Dominic sprawled onto the bed and passed out.
Bet shot him an impatient nce, then pulled the nket over him before turning to leave the tent.
Outside, Letitia was still lingering by the entrance, clearly not ready to give up.
"You can share a tent with Cynthia, or you can drive back home," Bet said, stopping to fix her with a cold stare.
“I... I...” Letitia stammered, her eyes darting toward Dominic''s tent.
Mr. James Sr. had already told them that whichever of them-her or Teresa ames managed to marry into the Taylor family would receive
5% of the James Group''s shares.
The temptation was immense. With a 5% stake, she would be a major shareholder in the James Group.
Besides, while Dominic was a
yboy, the Taylors were all blessed with good looks. As the second son, he held shares in the Taylor Group and received substantial dividends without even being involved in the business-more than enough to fund his extravagant lifestyle.
Marrying him was a win-win for Letitia.
That''s why she didn''t want to miss this golden opportunity during the camping trip.
Bet, however, could see right
through her intentions. He couldn''t
be bothered to y games and simply threw a cold warning at h Tonight, you will not go near Dominic. If I find out you''ve stepped

into his tent, I''ll chop off whichever foot you used. Got it?"
With that, Bet walked away.
After the barbecue, Yvonne went straight back to her tent.
Her clothes smelled of barbecue smoke.
After changing, Yvonne sat on the edge of the bed, scrolling idly through her phone. Bet hadn''t returned, and she had no idea where he''d gone.
Yvonne was already starting to yawn when Bet finally lifted the tent p and came inside.
“Bet, what took you so long? I was about to fall asleep," Yvonne said, pouting. “Hmm, just took a walk in the woods," Bet replied, taking off his jacket.
Yvonne nodded without asking any more questions. She kicked off her shoes and snuggled under the covers.
Bet sat down on the bed beside her and turned off themp.
