"No need to waste time on it. Let''s just focus on the following exams. We still have one more day of exams tomorrow," Yvonne said, sitting down and opening her book.
She had only turned a few pages when her phone rang. It was Bet.
Yvonne immediately took out her phone and stepped out of the dorm to answer.
“So, Mr. Bet Thompson finally has time for me?" Yvonne asked with a smile after answering the call.
"Yeah, I was in intensive training. Just finished," Bet''s voice was deep and warm, with a hint of a smile. "What are you doing?"
"Studying for tomorrow''s exam," Yvonne replied.
"You don''t sound very happy," Bet noted.
They probably knew each other too well; he could tell her mood just from the sound of her voice.
Yvonne didn''t hide anything. She told Bet all about seeing Mr. Ward drop Luna off at the school gate and the situation with the post.
After listening, Bet frowned slightly, his expression clearly turning colder, but his voice remained calm and gentle when he spoke to Yvonne.
"It''s just a small thing. I''ll handle it. You focus on your exam. I''ll pick you up after you''re done tomorrow."
"Okay," Yvonne answered obediently.
"Did you miss me?" Bet asked.
"Mhm," Yvonne replied softly, a faint blush coloring her cheeks.
On the other end, Bet let out a low chuckle, clearly in a good mood.
Then, voices could be heard in the background. Bet seemed to be busy and quickly ended the call.
Yvonne went back into the dorm room with her phone and continued to study.
Luna never returned to the dorm. By the next day, the post was still up, and it had gained even more attention.
Clearly, Luna hadpletely ignored Yvonne''s warning.
Yvonne didn''t bother with it. Bet said he would handle it, and she trusted he would.
On the third day, there was only one exam in the morning. After it was over, Luna was summoned to the dean''s office.
At first, Luna vehemently denied framing Yvonne.
But the schoot had already found evidence proving she was the one who made the post. Furthermore, there was security footage from the front gate that clearly showed Luna was the one kissing Mr. Ward in the car.
Faced with the evidence, Luna couldn''t argue and had to admit it.
While the school didn''t expel Luna,
they did give her a major de una
and a public reprimand. They also deleted the post and issued a rification.
Overnight, Luna became a pariah on campus, scorned by everyone.
Luna tearfully called Mr. Ward, only to be harshly berated by him.
"You idiot! How dare you offend just anyone? For the Thompsons, crushing us would be easier than crushing an ant. You can have the apartment near the school as a

me again dont want to get dragged down with you!"
“Mr. Ward, I—” Luna tried to exin, but he had already hung up.
Luna was furious. She stormed back to the dorm room, intending to confront Yvonne, but Bet had already picked her up.
Fuming, Luna threw a tantrum in the dorm, smashing things.
Tina, having had enough, simply moved out and started rooming with students from another dorm.

A month after the incident at Riverbend, the case remained at a standstill. The
police were continuously expanding their search area.
Eden was also brought in for questioning by the police.
He didn''t know much, so he didn''t reveal any weaknesses.
