Arthur stopped his search and looked at Brittany. "You should go home."
"No, Arthur, I''m going with you to the hospital. I want to help take care of Hailey." She couldn''t let that crazy woman say anything else. She couldn''t get kicked out. She was going to have the entire Griffith family for herself.
Arthur''s gaze was icy. "Brittany, Hailey wants a divorce because of you. I''m going to get to the bottom of this. Don''t bother her right now; she needs to rest. If you have any respect left for this family''s name, you''ll get out of here quietly."
"I... Arthur, don''t listen to her lies! I didn''t do anything. She''s framing me!" she argued frantically.
Arthur shut the car door, cutting off her pointless excuses.
He returned to the driver''s seat and started the car, heading for the hospital.
The traffic had finally cleared, and Natalie breathed a sigh of relief.
Brittany stomped her foot in anger. It wasn''t until a driver behind her honked that she reluctantly moved off the road.
Once Hailey woke up, she would be in serious trouble. She had to make sure Hailey never got the chance to reveal what she knew.
She headed to the side of the road to hail a cab to the hospital.
Natalie took out her phone and called Keith.
"Natalie, Susan is doing great. She''s slowly regaining feeling in her hand. How are things on your end?"
"I''m relieved to hear Susan is okay," Natalie said. "Everything''s fine here, mother and son are both safe. You stay with Susan for now. I''m taking Ms. Lawson to the hospital."
"Also, I can''t reach Luna. Send someone to find her. I''m worried something might have happened."
"She already called me, Natalie," Keith replied. "She said she''s fine, but something happened to Sean. It looks like he''s been kidnapped."
Natalie was stunned. "Sean was kidnapped?"
"That''s what Luna said. I''ve already sent people to help her."
"Good. Keep me updated on the situation. Call me if anything happens."
Natalie hung up, surprised. Why would Sean be kidnapped?

Sebastian''s car had reached the coast.
He pulled open the door and dragged Joanna out of the car.
During winter, the wind by the sea an untamed beast. The icy raged like
gusts felt like sharp needles
Let

the skin, a biting, painful sting
Joanna shivered, terrified as she looked at Sebastian''s ruthless face.
"Sebastian," she sobbed, "Sebastian, what are you doing? Are you really going to
throw me into the ocean?"
He nced at her, his eyes
bloodthirsty, a cold sneer on his lips.
"Joanna, you have two minutes. Tell
your people to let Calvert go Otherwise you''re going to find out exactly how deep this water is.
His icy voice pierced through her like a de. Unsure if it was the cold or the pain, Joanna couldn''t stop shaking.
By now, Sean was probably already dead.
Her only option was to deny everything. She couldn''t let Sebastian know her people had taken him.
"Sebastian, believe me, why would
kidnap Sean? We have no history, no reason to fight. Why would I do that Joanna pleaded, trying to make him believe her.
Before, he would believe anything she said.
"Please, Sebastian, just trust me this one time. What reason would I have to hurt him? And I certainly have no reason to kill him."
Sebastian turned to the bodyguards behind him. "Throw her into the ocean."
Two bodyguards stepped forward, nking Joanna and lifting her up.
Joanna was so cold she was shivering uncontrobly, too weak to struggle. In that moment, she felt helpless and terrified.
