After her warning, Natalie left.
In this life, if she was lucky, she would find a man who truly, deeply loved her and experience a real romance.
"Heh..." Sebastian chuckled, amused by her cute defiance. This vibrant Natalie was a delight.
Sebastian rubbed his chin. First kiss. It was his first kiss, too.
Sebastian was in a good mood. That kiss... it had been nice. Her lips were so soft.
He really wanted to eat Natalie''s cooking. After two years of her meals, his stomach had been thoroughly spoiled.
He watched Natalie''s slender figure walk over to a trash can, pick up a rock, and start cracking open all the shells to extract the meat.
Was she still going diving today?
"Natalie! Natalie..."
Natalie stood up with her basin and saw Marshall running toward her in a flurry. She froze, surprised. "What are you doing here?"
Marshall stood in the morning light, dressed in white pants and a white shirt, looking youthful and energetic.
Marshall held up his phone and grinned. "I saw you were nning to go diving today, so I came. Natalie, please take me with you just this once. I can''t free dive, but I really want to see how you fish."
Natalie looked out at the calm sea. The morning breeze was a bit chilly.
Natalie said, "During the day, we''d have to take a boat out to dive. How about we go at night? The marine life is more abundant then."
"At... at night? If I identally fall into the ocean, will you be able to see me to save me?" He hadn''t even considered the ocean at night; he just wanted to have fun during the day.
He was actually quite scared when the wind picked up.
Natalie rolled her eyes at him. "Can''t you think of anything positive? The spring tide is in three days, so today is actually a great day to go out. But it''s a two-hour boat ride to a small ind nearby where there''s plenty to catch. If you want to go, tell Susan toe too. We''ll bring atent, since we probably wont be back tonight n to do a night dive and head straight back to the city tomorrow morning."
"Wow! That sounds so exciting! I''ll arrange for the tent and the boat. Natalie, all you have to do is be in charge of our dinner."
Natalie smiled, ncing at the seafood in her basin. "Come on, follow me upstairs. I''ll treat you to a seafood breakfast."
"Oh!" Marshall''s eyes lit up. "Awesome, Natalie! I can''t believe I get to eat as soon as I arrive."
Natalie said, "This is from my dive yesterday. You were a huge helpst night, so of course you deserve a reward. Tonight, I''ll catch you a lobster."
Marshall beamed, his smile as bright as the morning sun.
His smile was infectious, and Natalie couldn''t help but smile back.
"Natalie." Susan had arrived as well.
The three of them headed upstairs together. From a distance, Sebastian watched Marshall with a dark expression. Why was he here too?
"Sir, are you heading out?" Sean walked over and asked.
Seeing him, Sebastian said, "Natalie is going diving today. I want you to follow Marshall, see what kind of boat he arranges, and then get one for us too."
Sean was shocked. He had also seen Natalie''s Facebook posts-it looked intense.
"Sir, are we going to follow them?"
Sebastian narrowed his eyes,
remembering Natalie had said they
wouldn''t be back tonight. A
meaningful smile yed on his lips. "Were going to rx Get a bigger boat. We won''t being back tonight either."
As Sebastian started to leave, Sean quickly stopped him. "Sir, wait. We found something. Take a look at this."
